Draft picks: 19, 38, 39, 41, 56

When you have won two of the past three premierships, the pressure is off. And when you have found a premiership player in the mid-season draft – Marlion Pickett – and a young star in the pre-season supplemental period – Sydney Stack – you can’t fault the recruiting. The Tigers will get back Alex Rance ahead of their premiership defence and will have Tom Lynch in better shape than he was this year coming off a PCL reconstruction. The Tigers will enter the draft at Pick 19 and feature prominently in the second-round. It will take a special player to break into this line-up in 2020, but after Pickett and Stack, you can see it happening.
