“For one of the few times in AFL history, there will be no change to the top eight.
“The top four will include Richmond, West Coast, Brisbane and the Bulldogs.
“So the Bulldogs are the ones for me that jump up into the top four and therefore it is the Giants, the Cats, the Dons and the Pies who will make up the bottom half of the eight.
“I don’t see the Pies going back much, if at all. They have still got the same squad. The Tigers are who they are, West Coast aren’t going to lose many home games, it is tough going.”

There's virtually always a change to the top 8 from year to year. There's usually on average two changes and one team from the top 4 the previous year will crash out and one from outside the Eight the previous year will rise up into the top 4. None of the 'experts' in the media this time last year where predicting Melbourne to fall to 2nd last and Brisbane to rise up to 2nd after the H/A season.

Always a slider and a bolted.
I’m hoping the slider is Geelong

Oh God yes. Could be WCE though, I reckon JK is finished.
Bolter will be WB I think, but obviously not into the top 8 - more pushing top 4.

Hawthorn might slip into the 8 again with an easier draw.

Essendon out. Especially if the reports over the preseason of them only having 20 fits players holds.
Would love to see the Pies have a shocker :pray.
Agree with mat about Hawthorn with Mitchell back. Best of the rest who failed to make to the Eight in 2019.

You may be right in 12 months time, lamington. No Kelly this year while still relying on an ageing Dangerfield, Selwood and Ablett.
