“When all these teams are playing wide down the boundary line like Richmond and Collingwood have been doing, playing it safe down the boundary, I reckon Clarko is going to come up with something that is innovative, that is more attacking.

Our defensive structure and forward half pressure forces oppositions to play wide down the boundary line. That forces turnovers which we feed off. As you say taz, we don't do it ourselves as that would defeat the purpose and gift the ball back to the opposition. We love playing through the corridor with two key forwards as targets surrounded by quick smalls at their feet. It's great footy to watch :clapping.

Someone on SEN interviewed Greg Williams a week or so ago & he bemoaned the fact that no-one uses long attacking handball anymore - claimed he started it , I thought jeepers Diesel you dont watch the Tige's do you _

Not sure we have a preference. The main aim is to get the ball back then get it into our forward 50 as fast as possible. That could be down the boundary or through the centre. We run so hard we usually have multiple options

Diesel is an amazing player and I have a lot of respect for him but boy is he wrong. I remember seeing Martin handball it like 30m and then you have sheds who is elite at attacking handball. That being said though when you have lynch and Riewoldt in the goal square why wouldn’t you just bomb it in quick?

Williams always been like that like his some top player no one can compare to him and better.Alot better in his day players going around then him.
