Noah Cumberland ruptures ACL
Scans have confirmed first year player Noah Cumberland has ruptured his ACL at training on Thursday.
The injury to his left knee occurred during a drill in Thursday’s main training session.
Cumberland, 19, will not play for the rest of season 2020.
“We’re all incredibly disappointed for Noah, he returned to the Club in great condition, and was training very well before his injury occurred,” Richmond’s General Manager – Football Performance, Tim Livingstone said.
“Noah is a promising young player, and we believe he has a bright future in the AFL. We will all support him on his road to recovery.”
Cumberland and the Club’s medical staff will determine his rehab and recovery process in the coming days.

Not sure, wayne. AFL website just says "Cumberland suffered the injury during a routine training drill". So he could have done it either being caught in a tackle or simply from changing direction :(.
