The Tigers have shed more than 30 staff as they hunt their third premiership in four years.

They are budgeting for COVID-19 to affect the start of next season and expect to be operating at a reduced capacity until 2023.

Find that hard to believe till 2023, we would have loss revenue from our premiership year not having fans ,merchandise,sponsorship etc.

Currently they have no idea how many people will be allowed into games next year.

Big crowds are huge money spinner for us, so would planning for that.

Crowds also impact on  membership. Although most people didn't ask for refunds this year. All clubs would be factoring in not maintaining the same level of membership if people can't go to games.

We also haven't gone to the AFL for a handout this year so you would expect they would working towards replenishing our cash reserves. This will take time

Then there is restrictions that are impacting on our other revenues streams e.g. Aligned Leisure ... all this needs to be factored in

Throw in the ridiculous restrictions with the soft cap reduction  :banghead

Finally, you have the impact on sponsor $$$. It is reasonable to assume that even though if your haven't lost sponsors the $$ available may not be to the same levels as now. All businesses are tightening their belts, sport sponsorship will be affected, no doubt

I also heard or read I cannot remember which an interview with Benny Gale and he said  that the impacts from COVID will defintely be felt in 2021and 2022 by the entire AFL industry and the Tigers are not immune

If we make the GF, sponsors will be getting the greatest exposure in AFL history.
Has to be worth a bonus for brand visibility.

But what about all the other things they haven't received this year because they haven't had access to getting to game like the rest of us?

Sponsorship isn't just about brand exposure

Could always act irresponsibly like the desperadoes of the competition and put our hands out if needed
