Not much to report really

Malcolm Speed is retiring from the board because he has served 3 consecutive terms

Peggy read he report, the Finance Director (sorry forget her full name but Tina) read her report. Only interesting bit there was the Club has hired an investment firm to generate income from their cash reserves

The 3 directors up for re-election were re-elected unopposed

General business:

Some of the questions

Museum? Yes there will be one in the new building

Balance of Funding ($30 mil)? Club plans not go into debt. Will use cash reserves and other fundraising tools

Pokies: per Peggy's report legal matter around Wantrina Club and our pokie licenses settled. Now focus on what we do moving forward

Women's Footy program: much of the same. Soft cap restrictions/reduction means most "efficient" way for 2021 is a alignment with Port Melbourne .

Games at Marvel: what is our contractual arrangement with Marvel? Peggy "we don't have one, we play home games there because the AFL schedule us there. We always request all homes games at the MCG" (note I found that a really silly question as it I asked every year  :help)

2 new life members- will post abput those seperately

Off the top of my head that's it.

Sounds good to me! Hard to poke holes right now.

Great to hear about the club's plan for ongoing financial stability. Sounds very professionally run now.

There was no announcement, so I am assuming they have appointed one yet

No one typed that question, well it didn't appear to be one

Are we arranging better MCG deal that guarantees us punt rd end for ALL games?

It’s time we flexed our 100k muscle.

Wasn't asked

But we get the Punt Road End of the MCG for ALL home games as we should. We don't for away games which has been in place forever which is is fair enough.

So, sorry I don't get your point

I'm presuming Tigeritis is asking if Richmond gets the same MCG deal in terms of $$$, seating and social club benefits as Collingwood?

Don't know, there was no questions around the MCG.

Collingwood's contract (for memory) still has a couple of years to run.

So does our current one (again for memory)

All games and all games means every game not just home games.

Yes exactly. Collingwood get all games at the MCG exactly the same deal. They have arranged a great deal that allows them exactly the same access for their members regardless if it’s a home game or an away game.
We should do the same but at the opposite end of the ground to Collingwood and all our seating arrangements are located at the punt road end like any home game is.

We should demand a better deal than Collingwood as we are the premier team in terms of average attendances now.
