Now that Leppa is leaving and McRae is going to Hawthorn, is there any news or speculation on who will be joining our coaching ranks?
-
With the soft cap being slashed by over $3 million I actually don't expect any to bought in to be honest
I am actually waiting for more changes :-\

Sad about those losses. Really liked having Leppa there, might be magical thinking but we dipped when he left and picked up when he returned. I think the big bloodnut added some steel to the joint.

Yep he was fantastic, but we we're saying the same about Blake Carecellla the rest is history.

Come on down Dean Solomon... :shh

Let’s get Hodgey and we can bring back Chris Newman :rollin

I wasn't on the Caracella bandwagon, am not saying he was not worth his salt at all though. People were carping about him taking over Hardwicks job... I was always a Leppa fan though. I felt like he got shat on by Brisbane delicate flowers and he came back to a club where he was appreciated. Always good to adapt though, the game is dynamic and fresh ideas are always welcome. Clubs are starting to emulate our style, some with better picks coming thru than we have had for a long time. We know our tactics better than anyone though, so you would think we would know how to combat them lol.

Caracalla was good but Leppa to me was better, his results speak for themselves
Leppa called a spade a spade with no excuses- will be missed

Our gameplan changed completely when Blake turned up
No coincidence
He played a monstrous role in this dynasty

Before Caracalla we were “not a huge tackling side”
Also before leppa Rance was good without being elite. He also made the 2017 single tall forward line work.
Both assistants have been amazing in contributing to all 3 premierships. Whoever has to fill leppa’s spot has big shoes to fill

Every AFL club’s biggest issue in 2021

Every team has its big issue — the one hindrance it hopes doesn’t rear its ugly head again in 2021.
Even the Tigers, the undisputed champions, aren’t immune to concerns leading into next season.
Foxfooty.com.au assesses every club’s standout issue ahead of next season.
RICHMOND
Adapting to coaching changes
To be fair, there isn’t much for Richmond that could be considered an issue. Given we have to pick one though, the departures of Craig Macrae and Justin Leppitsch are significant blows to the coaching ranks given how highly rated they were internally. There aren’t many, if any, better coached sides in the league than Richmond, as Damien Hardwick’s system has thrived on players just performing their roles. With the Tigers the undisputed champions, clubs will again go to work on cracking their code, which means adapting in some small way will be necessary for the Tigers to stay on top, much like we saw this year with their contested possession turnaround after their finals loss to Brisbane. Whether they’ll be able to adapt effectively enough without the calibre of assistant coaches that are leaving them will be the big question. Having said that, you’d still back ‘Dimma’ in.

Slow media day if that that's our biggest concern well 2021 should be a great year.

Richmond have lost strength and rehabilitation coach Rob Inness who has been lured by Sydney to head the Swans' high-performance team, replacing the outgoing Rob Spurrs. @agerealfooty

Like Hawks in 2012 - 2015 reckon we could coach ourselves.
