A slice of Richmond footy history surfaced online this week – two colour photographic slides depicting the club’s involvement in the 1968 Moomba Parade.
The parade took place on March 11, 1968.
The images show four players from our 1967 premiership side in a car procession, making its way down Swanston Street in front of 300,000 spectators.

Interestingly I have some old 8mm home movies that my Mum took back in the late 60's / early 70's of Moomba parades. My uncle was one of the organisers back then..he was heavily involved in the artistic design of stuff .
And in one of them Mum has taken 10 seconds of some footy players by the looks they are N0rt players... My Mum concentrated more on the floats that my Uncle was involved in helping put together
Cherish those movies, have actually had all converted to DVD

I have lots of super 8 movies. Can you recommend a good place to get them converted.
