Bolts was awesome but I’ve never seen anything like jacks. Reverse 180 speccy running back with the flight of the ball :clapping

Have we ever had a tie for mark of the year?

Should Lynch have got a blocking free here?
-
:lol.
Yep, that’s what I was thinking

If Deboy was umpiring those marks it would've been high contact against Blicavs = free to Geelong & front on contact against Jack = free kick Adelaide :wallywink.

100% agree TK. Bolts was the classic speckie but Jack's was just insane :o. In some ways Jack was lucky he got the extra lift up otherwise he could've been cleaned up by Chol coming the other way.

Nick’s for me
-
Nick's looked better than it was because of the flip from hitting Milne (who was actually the bravest player in that contest)....and it was mainly just a running with the flight mark.....Jack's had everything...with the flight , speccie leap and mid air twist and a pack mark....a pack of talls btw not just a small forward.... :shh

Milne didn’t know he was coming and was stationary attempting to mark the ball and actually thought he was going to do so.
Nick Riewoldt runs full steam into the contest with the flight with eyes solely for the football and you think he wasn’t the most courageous in that contest?? :wallywink :wallywink

For what it's worth, the poll on the AFL website finished with Jack's mark voted second best of all time behind Gary Moorcroft's.
After 30,000 people had their say in AFL.com.au's poll, Moorcroft's incredible high-flyer - where he stood outstretched on the shoulders of Bulldogs great Brad Johnson - received nearly 25 per cent of fan votes, while Riewoldt's gravity-defying hanger - with a 180 degree twist - against the Crows picked up around 20 per cent of the votes.
Gary Moorcroft vs Bulldogs 2001 25%
Jack Riewoldt vs Adelaide 2021 19%
Nick Riewoldt vs Sydney 2004 13%
Shaun Smith vs Brisbane 1995 13%
Alex Jesaulenko vs Collingwood 1970 7%

Great thing about O'Brien's was he took the ball with his arms outstretched.
Elsewise I think Bolton has him for elevation and Jack has him for difficulty/courage.
-
Slobbo reckoned O'Brien will probably get the nod for MOTY because his has the best still photo.... ::)

Slobo spouts rubbish and would pick a 10m jogging lead and uncontested mark from any whorethorn player ahead of anything a ricmond player did, even if they touched the roof of the stadium and did a triple somersault in the pike position.
