Title: Geelong Coaching Record
Post by: Moi on May 12, 2006, 09:48:23 PM
And they get stuck into us for wielding the knife.
Bomber Thompson became the second longest serving coach at Geelong tonight, behind Reg Hickey.
He's coached 145 games lol
Haven't got a list of their coaches - but would like to know how many they've had compared to us.

They have been lucky to stay out of the spotlight, i am sure tonights win will keep them out of it for a while.

Just our luck they start running into form when they are about to play us.

Fish has given me a list of their coaches - thinks we still may have had more.
But still, 7 years for Bomber sounds like a small number of years to be the second highest coach there.

Wouldn't matter how many they have, they're such a crap club lol

In the 2004 AFL annual stats book it lists 30 coaches for Geelong. So that's around one coach every 3 and a bit years. They have given all their coaches a good run in the last 20 years though.

If Bomber Thompson fails this year then he'll be under just as much pressure as Thomas is. The longer it takes for them to finally crack a flag the less likely it will happen as other young talented sides (like us :thumbsup) will overtake them.

Bomber Thompson mightn't have the job much longer the way the pussy cats are going.

We got accused in the media of not trying against the dogs and last night the Cats were worse than us.
