Outs: Cotchin - terrible game, worst since 2016.
Castagna - should’ve been dropped weeks ago.
Bolton - biggus headus.
Balta - fumbled twice cost him the season.
Chol - don’t let him play so his new team can’t see him close up.
Houli - it’s time old fella, it’s time.
Keep Ryan in so he can get at least one kick. :rollin
-
INS: Miller, Astbury (only because there's no one else), RCD, Lynch (if fit, if not Caddy as a FWD),
OUTS: Balta, Houli, Castagna, Ryan, Mansell
****if Nank is fit (doubt he will be) he comes in for Chol

Tigeritis and WP
There is zero chance Broad plays .. probably out for the year

They were saying after the game 8-10 weeks .. watch him in a couple of contests after coming back on , he could hardly put his foot on the ground .. syndesmosis

Yes just read that
In light of that, they won't drop Houli now :banghead

Lots of changes needed, but you know it will be:
In: Rioli, Caddy
Out: Balta, Broad
-
Out:
Ryan (not ready)
Balta (injured)
Broad (injured)
Houli (retired)
In:
Miller
Astbury
RCD
Caddy
So many lucky players is laughable but we can't do more than a handful of changes at most probably.
-
Ins: Vickery, Deledio, Rance, Leppa (coach)
-
I don’t understand why Grathwaite is being played as a forward?
Now we have no choice and he and Miller need to play in AFL to replace Balta and Broad.
OUT: Balta (Inj), Broad (Inj), Ryan (Omitted), Chol (Omitted)
IN: Grathwaite, Miller, Lynch, RCD
I would move Cotchin in defence rotating through midfield and he can be a small lockdown defender.
Free up Short.
-
Ins: Vickery, Deledio, Rance, Leppa (coach)
What this rubbish?
You want sideshowbob back?
Lids is a traitor that jump ship
Rance id take back and Leppa too, but I reckon he left for personal reasons (ie.the Hardwick affair)
It’s mind-boggling anyone would want Sideshow back for any reason.
-
To be fair Deledio was strongly encouraged to leave by the club... :shh
-
You watch them bring in Parker this week.
-
Bring in Lynch, Miller, Astbury, RCD and Dow.
Out: Noah, Broad, Houli, Ryan and Mansell
-
You watch them bring in Parker this week.
If it's for Castagna then I won't mind... :shh
-
Stakes for this game just became higher!
Giants just been beaten by the Hawks :lol
So we are still in the 8
So now the importance of getting right at selection becomes even more critical

Richmond looks set to welcome back triple premiership defender David Astbury as its backline stocks took a hit in its crushing loss to St Kilda last week.
And key forward Tom Lynch is also considered likely to return from his knee injury to face Gold Coast on Thursday night as the Tigers battle to remain in the top eight.
Astbury hasn't played since round 10 while nursing an Achilles injury but is considered a likely recall to face the Suns with defensive pair Noah Balta and Nathan Broad set to miss with syndesmosis ankle injuries sustained against the Saints.
A number of Tigers will be pushing for a spot at senior level after impressive performances in the VFL, including Patrick Naish (32 disposals and two goals), Jack Ross (29 disposals), Riley Collier-Dawkins (27) and Josh Caddy (21 and one goal).

Chol and Vlastuin in doubt though :-\.
Chol will be fine to play this week at any level. Vlastuin would be a huge lose.
-
So if Chol & Nank don't play does that mean Ryan not only gets another gig but suddenly finds himself the numero uno ruckman? Or do we just wing it with CCJ, Miller, Pickett & Astbury rotating? :help
Lucky we're playing the one team whose ruck stocks are as low as ours.... :shh

Looks like Suns May go a good thing in a multi bet :shh :shh

You may be proven right Machine but the media and the RFC site have Chol as "questionable".
Meanwhile Nick Vlastuin (quad cork) has been listed as “line-ball” to play on Thursday night against Gold Coast due to the short turnaround, while Mabior Chol (finger) is questionable.

How many games has parker played with us now?
He should get a recall. he cant be any worse than what i saw friday night.
He, at least can tackle and pressure opponents, unlike some who have forgotten.

Lynch is in but Prestia is out (see other thread).
One of those years :P.

Another star Tiger down as Dimma ponders debutant to face Suns
Richmond will be without Dion Prestia for Thursday night's match against Gold Coast

INJURY-PRONE Richmond midfielder Dion Prestia has been added to the club's bulging casualty ward with a tight hamstring, and will miss Thursday night's game against former club Gold Coast.
The 28-year-old has a lengthy history of soft-tissue concerns and lasted just one match into his comeback from a calf injury, pulling up sore after the demoralising loss to St Kilda.
Coach Damien Hardwick confirmed David Astbury (Achilles) would return and untried tall Ben Miller will be in the squad at the very least, somewhat off-setting the loss of defensive duo Noah Balta and Nathan Broad.
Prestia ran laps at training on Tuesday morning, Nick Vlastuin (corked quad) did touch drills with Ivan Soldo (ACL), while Tom Lynch (knee) moved well in his quest to be proven fit for the Suns.
Mabior Chol (dislocated finger) trained with the main group with protection on his hand and will also need to be passed fit in order to play.
Integral ruckman Toby Nankervis (knee) partially trained with the main group, but remains at least one week away.

Changes for the Suns game: state & venue

Team Tips:
If you believe Damien Hardwick, Tom Lynch should make his long-awaited return from a knee injury to face the Suns on Thursday night. He’d be a significant inclusion, but yet again the Tigers can’t get all their best players on the park – Dion Prestia has had a hamstring setback and will miss the match. Noah Balta and Nathan Broad will come out with their ankle injuries, but David Astbury could play his first game since Round 10.
Hardwick says he plans to go in with Callum Coleman-Jones, Mabior Chol, Tom Lynch and Jack Riewoldt.
The final inclusion to the side could be Patrick Naish, Jack Ross, Riley Collier-Dawkins or Josh Caddy, who all performed well in the VFL over the weekend.

In the Mix: Round 16

RICHMOND
After a nightmare game – both on the scoreboard and on the injury front – Noah Balta and Nathan Broad have had surgery on syndesmosis injuries. David Astbury (Achilles) will take one defensive spot, with Rhyan Mansell or possibly untried tall Ben Miller an option. Nick Vlastuin (corked quad) is in a race to be declared fit, with Sydney Stack and newly deployed half-backs Daniel Rioli and Jack Ross possible options. Riley Collier-Dawkins will be front of the queue for the hamstrung Dion Prestia's spot, while Tom Lynch's return from a knee injury should see one of Samson Ryan or Mabior Chol (battling a dislocated finger) make way.
Verdict: Astbury, Mansell (into starting line-up), Collier-Dawkins and Lynch for Balta, Broad, Prestia and Ryan.
