Yes that’s right, very rare, but Fluffy, Mrs. Fluffy and at least one of their children are coming to Melbourne and are going to see the Tigers.
Ok, so we didn't pick the best week but it wasn't a matter of choice. We have to come and see a supplier and that could only be done between the 15th and 23rd of May. I have made the appointment on the Saturday Morning so we could come to the game after.
Now this is not the first time we have done this but it very rare. We have managed to see my Tigers a total of 4 times in the last 10 years.
We don't know the Dome well so I am asking advice as to ticketing and seating. Where is the best places to watch from, should we pre purchase online or is better value at the ground etc.
Maybe we could even meet a few one eyed Tigers there (depending on what Mrs. Fluffy says.)

Don’t think it will be a huge crowd Fluffy. 32,000 I reckon. The cheapest option is to just turn up on the day and buy general admission tickets, which will get you into Level 3. If you get there at least 45 minutes before the game, you can get front row seats, or near enough to. You can then pick and choose where you want to sit, without too much hassle. Pretty good vantage point, which gives you a really good view of how the game unfolds.
If you really want to sit on Level 1, you will need to pay extra for the privilege. Ditto Level 2, plus a bit extra. Might be worth asking when you purchase the tickets, but I'm pretty sure it's more than a tad dearer if you want to pay for a seat.
Enjoy your stay Fluffy, if not the game. Hope it’s at least a contest. :thumbsup

Moi basically said what you need to know Fluffy but you may be able to get Level 1 general admission tickets if you don't mind sitting near the goals. The cheer squad usual sits behind the Coventry (Bourke St) end goals. You'll just have to ask the person at the booth to make sure. When the Tiges are playing at the Dome I do what TS has suggested. Rock up around 45-60 mins before the game and sit in one of the front rows along the wing. At the Dome the viewing there is great and the players don't look like ants from the top tier like the do at the 'G. As for getting there I use public transport. Southern Cross (the old Spencer St) railway station is right next to the Dome on the Bourke St side while a tram drops you off outside the Latrobe St end.

Thanks for the info guys and gals.
Even though I give us very little chance we will still be be coming.
My daughter even tipped the Tigers becasue she though that there is no point even going if you didn't think they would win (oh to be young again). Its only her second live AFL game ever.

Had a great day. Thanks for the tips guys, we did exactly as you said and it was a great place to watch the game plan unfold. You could see the ways the guys were using each other to make space and be the free man for the short kick.
My daughter is two for two. Llast year was the Collingwood game were browny kicked 5. Now I won't be coming to the football with out her for many years (I hope). :gotigers

And boy can I pick the games. V the Doggies (who we lost to by over 100 points the time this year) with half our team out , nice one Fluff
But the daughter is comming and she has never seen the tigers loose live.
I thought you might all like to know this before you do your tips for this weekend (even though it wont be effecting mine :shh).
