Borrowing this question from twitter.
What is your personal favourite Richmond memory from the 1990s?
-
Matty Richardson bursting onto the scene

The 1995 semi-final against Essendon is the clear standout

One of my few live games in the 90's (as I lived in Sydney for a long time) was the Mother's Day masicare of the Pies at the G in 1991. My wife's first live game and my ex Flatmate came along. He was a Collingwood supporter. What a great day, Hoggy kicked 10 I think.

95 semi final.
I was 10 and we got into the rooms after full time and stood outside in the car park getting autographs as the players walked to Punt Road.

1. 1995 semi
2. Mothers day massacre
3. Round 10 1990 v Carlton. Bleak day and Honybun went on a rampage kicking 6 goals in a 23 point win over Carlton. Michael Mitchell BOG. For some reason that win sticks in my mind

1995 loss in the prelim at Waverley vs Geelong, we lost 129 to 40 I think, but in the last quarter the Tiger army started singing the team song, even Geelong fans joined in.
Not a great result but a wonderful moment.

1995 semi final. Beating Geelong in 1996. Honeybun destroying Brisbane in 1990 and finally Cloke's last game against Carlton.
-
Mother's day game against the Pies in 1991. KB's greatest coaching win
1995 semi final against the Bombers, especially Scotty Turner's bump. He'd cop 10 weeks today
And the run of wins in 1994 (think there was 5 or 6 for memory). A glimpse of what 1995 had in store

Scotty Turner, I saw the 17 goal display by Jason Dunstall when Scotty Turner was on him, amazing

Finishing 9th 3 times 🤣
-
Richo tearing SOS a new rs hole when he first started playing.
Was magnificent to embarrass a Carlton great.
From memory, we beat those bastards in his 300th.
