Out:
Lambert (hip)
Lynch (hammy)
Aarts

In:
Pickett

Otherwise I'm happy for Miller to come in and try Gibcus forward.

Out: Lambert, Lynch, Aarts

In: Graham, Pickett, best player from the vfl who has already debuted (sub).

Don’t think we actually have a kpf to bring in so they’ll probably just go small.

Damien Hardwick has ruled out Kane Lambert and Tom Lynch for next Friday night's clash against Sydney at the SCG after the pair suffered injuries in Saturday night's Dreamtime win over Essendon.

Lambert was substituted out of the 32-point win late in the third quarter due to hip soreness in his fourth game back from a hip concern over the pre-season, while Lynch spent the final quarter on the bench with ice on his hamstring.

The Tigers have the bye after next weekend's trip to Sydney before hosting Port Adelaide on Thursday June 9.

"Those boys won't play next week. We'll assess the damage and go from there," Hardwick said on Saturday night.

Richmond midfielder Jack Graham is expected to return for the trip to Sydney after being a late out for the clash against the Bombers due to a toe injury.

"He was touch and go. We thought he was no chance. He pushed and wanted to play such a significant game and then captain's run he just decided he wasn’t quite right," Hardwick said.

"We had fit players. Jack Ross came in and did a really good job, but Jack will be available to play next week at this stage."

Hardwick said he would look to elevate a forward to support Jack Riewoldt, who kicked four goals. Riewoldt held the fort in 2017 however the Tigers have been playing with a two-pronged attack since 2019 when Lynch joined the club from the Gold Coast.

Samson Ryan played forward in the VFL but was quiet while Ben Miller was in good form in defence. Noah Balta is sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Thanks forgot about Graham.

In for me and shuffle the board. I actually think Soldo isn't horrible resting forward.

Agree Stack should come in. Would bring in Graham and Pickett. Definitely drop Aarts. Out Lambert and Lynch(injured).

If you looking for a forward in form at the moment has to be Cumberland.

He consistently kicks around 3 goals a game and brings another option , earned a chance imo

Can sonsie play forward? Otherwise is banks ready? Send baker forward as a cameo and bring banks in?

With the lack of key fwds it really should be one of Miller or Nyuon. This should have been a scenario all year in the two's. Lots of tall defenders struggling to fit em all in very few Tall fwds and in strife if we cop injuries.
I suppose we did try Balta fwd but hardly gave it time. Would not matter anyway as he is also injured.

I think an option could be RCD playing fwd and we simply rotate him and Dusty thru the midfield.

Hve to get Stack into the team and Pickett has to return as well.

Ahhh yes stack! I forget he’s playing as a forward now. God he’s so talented I just hope he can break into the team sooner than later

Pickett and Graham for Lambert and Lynch are the obvious changes.

Nank and Soldo to alternate between Ruck and resting forwrad to help cover Tom I reckon.

Ralphsmith the next to come in if any surprise outs I reckon.

Team Tips:
Premiership duo Tom Lynch and Kane Lambert both come out of the side through injury as the Tigers will need to turn to their depth. Jack Graham is expected to be available to return from a toe injury after being a late out. The likes of Matt Parker (22 touches, nine marks), Hugo Ralphsmith (27 disposals), Noah Cumberland (three goals)and Sydney Stack (three goals) will also be in the mix after impressing in the VFL as well as Bigoa Nuyon if the Tigers for a key position player to replace Lynch. It’s an otherwise well settled Tigers side that just won its fourth-straight game.

Marlion Pickett will return from suspension and Jack Graham from a toe injury for the clash with Sydney at the SCG as the Tigers lose Lambert and key forward Tom Lynch until at least Round 14.

Richmond doesn't have an obvious replacement for Tom Lynch (hamstring) and will have to go smaller in attack. Jack Graham (toe) should be able to return on Friday night, taking the spot of Kane Lambert (hip). Marlion Pickett (suspension) is now available, while Hugo Ralphsmith (28 disposals) and Sydney Stack (17, three goals) were the best of the VFL.

Verdict: Graham and Pickett in for Lambert and Lynch
