Summary:
* Tough conditions. Wetter than he first thought from seeing the ground pre-game. Dew had settled. It was going to make it a messy affair.
* Essendon hung tough and did a good job defending us. They scragged us. Our ball movement wasn't as sharp. We left a fair few goals on the table which is disappointing. We take the four points but we have a fair bit of improvement still left in us.
* 50 metre penalties is a hard one. It's a hard game to adjudicate with big players around big packs. We'll look into them but it they are to the letter of the law then we'll let them go.
* Praised Prestia, Dan Rioli and Baker.
