Not a fan of playing Balta forward again.
Go in with Grimes, Balta and Gibcus down back and play an extra small in the forward line (Maurice?).
Happy for Judson to debut, but there's the hint of a soft underbelly with him and Ralphsmith in the same side.
I understand if Maurice needs a breather and a chance to reflect (which is a big part of learning--taking a break and letting your experiences assimilate) but I worry that Stack is not getting in these teams.

Not too sure what people see in M. Rioli to be so opposed to dropping him. I haven’t written him off yet and his defensive pressure is nice by he hasn’t got me sold either
*Disclaimer: before anyone comes in hot and says he’s better than X player. I don’t give a poo. I’m not comparing him to anyone and that doesn’t justify anything.
-
Why is lambo named as an emergency? He’s either right to go or not I would have thought.
-
The changes are good imo would have liked for them to go a bit further but the changes they have made are spot on.
Lol people complaining about Rioli getting the arse. He has been ordinary most of his 5 games imo.Yeah he is a kid and all that but just being honest here and
Thought people would be over the moon at Castagna FINALLY GETTING WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED ALL YEAR.
Balta forward makes sense to me especially with no Lynch. Hope they leave him there we have enough options down back.
The scenario is we make finals but round 23 we lose Lynch again or Riewoldt what the hell do people want in that scenario going small is not an optionand playing Soldo as a fwd is laughable.

My guess for mrj drop is so we don’t have too many <20 gamers in the team and team balance? Because it’s not like we’d keep pickett out for mrj right?
-
Re MRJ: a team is more than the sum of its parts. MRJ brings a renewed focus on F50 pressure that we haven't seen since the prem years and 17 in particular.
The guy who sets the right example is therefore partially responsible for those that follow his lead. I just like having him in the forward line, because I know he brings the right intent and energizes his teammates similarly.
He has shown that he can hit the scoreboard and lay big tackles in the same game (after 7 games). He did need a spell though.

Agree with that, but his been going missing lately his got to work on staying involved in games.

MRJ has shown huge improvement from last year
But still has a bit to go
