Seems there is a bit of an epidemic from ex footballer media personalities shooting their mouths off saying they'll do things that they don't follow up on. Not sure if any of you watch the Rugby league but in a Dragons v Knights match last week a try went to the video ref for checking and Phil Gould said that he would jump out of the commentators box if a try was awarded. He repeated this comment several times. Guess what...A try was awarded and no jumping Phil!! :wallywink Probably couldn't fit out the window! :lol Oh well...I guess we'll have to continue to put up with his sensationalistic drivel! :banghead

I wouldn't be surprised if the Cats told Sam if he came near the place he wouldn't get out alive. You just got to laugh at all these old Geelong players having a sook. Remember Polly Farmer not so long ago still whinging about the 1967 GF ::). They get very bitter whenever Richmond is mentioned. As for Sam he joined Geelong in 1964 (the year after their last flag) and has cursed the place ever since lol.

Just saw this on the NRL show. I think the 30m drop from the top of the stand put Gould off lol.
