Really poor there by Biggie. RCD put that ball on a platter and Biggie just stood back and let the Willy defender cut in front on him rather than hitting up at the ball.
-
That's like an u10s game. Give the other team a free goal when they aren't good enough to get one on their own. Pathetic umpiring.

Been saying it all season
But it seems it doesn't matter what this kid does they won't select him
Guarantee you that Dow gets another look in ahead of RCD
Worst thing is he played a great game against the Esgles (his last afl game) and got dropped immediately because Cotchin was available and others who had been playing poorly kept getting games
-
Theres something their with Riley. I reckon he can play but hes never had a run of games. Id put him in see what he can bring the next few weeks.
-
Yep exactly 💯 all have had a decent run RCD hasn't and we're crying out for inside midfielder. How Ryan go and Bauer ? Did Biggie play in ruck again.

I think Maurice and RCD have to come in. Bring in Gibcus as well.
Cumberland and Sonsie stay in too.
Miller should probably miss with his full body meltdown diagnosis, so we play Grimes, Tarrant and Balta back with Riewoldt and Gibcus forward, supported by Cumberland. Maurice running around like an out of control lawnmower at their feet.
Not sure who goes out. Soldo probably. Ralphsmith. Cant really remember who else. Already tried to forget.

Gibcus almost took mark of the year today.

VFL Tigers flex their muscles in win over Williamstown
By Brenton Mann
AFL Media
23 July 2022
Stepping outside of yourself; caring for your teammate next to you and a willingness to be there for one another was the fuel that drove Richmond VFL in their clash with Williamstown.
The two teams have played out some classic encounters in recent history, and their Round 18 contest had a rough and tumble vibe from the get-go.
The Tigers ground their way to an impressive 55-point victory, bursting with vigour and verve with touches of class sprinkled throughout.
Richmond secured its ninth win of the season as they held Williamstown to just two goals, the final score reading 10.14 (74) to 2.7 (19).
Samson Ryan booted a game-high three goals, leading his side with strength and skill.
A sodden Punt Road Oval greeted Richmond and Williamstown, with pools of water scattered along the wings making for tricky, soaking conditions.
The slippery Sherrin didn’t bother Richmond big man Ryan, with the budding ruckman jagging the opening two goals of the game.
Ryan’s initial goal came after a strong contested mark in the right forward pocket. His second was pure class, with a slick crumb inside 50, he swung immediately on to his left and snapped truly.
Josh Gibcus suited up in the Yellow and Black at VFL level for the first time in his career, and provided aerial prowess behind the ball.
He nearly laid claim to mark of the year, hovering over a pack on the Punt Road wing in the second term and wowing the crowd in attendance.
The Tigers' willingness to be manic at the ball and the man allowed them to play the game on their terms for the majority of the first half.
Sydney Stack’s return was a welcome one, with the steely forward clean. Rhyan Mansell exuded the same qualities as Stack but in the back-half, teaming well with Gibcus and Tylar Young in providing rigidity backward of centre, stopping any Seagull that came into their path.
Jason Castagna had stints up forward and through the midfield, snapping the opening goal of the second term, following a slick assist by Ryan.
Maurice Rioli Jnr played a ferocious ten-minute cameo as the medical sub at Marvel Stadium on Friday night, and brought that same attitude to the ensuing contest against Williamstown.
He was constantly buzzing around forward-50, which led to Richmond’s fourth goal and his first.
The Tiger dynamo bobbed up early in the third quarter, snapping his second goal and pushing Richmond’s lead out to 35 points.
There was an injection of niggle and spice soon after, as Williamstown slotted its opening goal of the game midway through the quarter.
The Tigers’ young brigade didn’t allow its mindset to be jolted, slamming through three goals to end the quarter 47 points ahead.
Skipper Lachlan Street followed on from his strong showing last week as he clutched onto a diving chest mark 35 metres out from the Brunton Avenue goal.
Street converted which initiated a small flurry of goals.
Riley Collier-Dawkins was on the bottom of most packs throughout the day, but showed poise to find Judson Clarke free inside 50, with Clarke converting.
Ryan rose to prominence once again, splitting the pack and marking on his chest within close range to goal.
The towering Tiger bagged his third major and Richmond motored into the final change eight goals clear of the Seagulls.
The final term had patches of chaos, as Williamstown kept trying to rattle the Tigers.
The conditions and state of the game suited the likes of Jake Aarts and Rhyan Mansell, who kept the ball going Richmond’s way.
Tom Brown showcased his strengths in the air and with ball-in-hand.
Bailey Henderson found himself in space late in the final term, snapping the first goal of the term late in time on.
Then Aarts capped off the win with a classy set-shot goal a stroke before the final siren.
Richmond is building momentum heading into the pointy end of the season, and a crucial game against Brisbane awaits next Sunday morning at the Swinburne Centre.

VFL Report: Round 18
Richmond VFL coach Steve Morris provides a summary of how the Tigers’ players performed in Saturday's 55-point win over Williamstown at the Swinburne Centre.
Riley Collier-Dawkins (33 disposals, six tackles, six clearances)
"Had a good game. He led the team for contested possessions, alongside Thomson Dow. He probably could have finished a little bit better in front of goal, but we love when he brings his teammates into the game and he was certainly strong around the footy for us."
Thomson Dow (29 disposals, eight clearances, seven inside-50s, four marks)
"Was a part of our midfield that really gained ascendancy on the day in wet conditions. He led the team for inside-50s which was pleasing to see."
Will Martyn (29 disposals, eight marks, seven inside-50s)
"Had a really solid game. He probably can tidy up a little bit defensively, but he had a really big impact offensively and he's starting to put together some really good form across half-back."
Jake Aarts (27 disposals, seven tackles, five inside-50s, one goal)
"Was one of our best on the day with 27 possessions and seven tackles. He was in and around the contest and in the thick of things all day, and he finished with a brilliant goal at the end of the game from the boundary."
Samson Ryan (20 disposals, 29 hit-outs, three goals)
"Had his best game for the season. He probably should have kicked five or six goals, but he was dominant in the ruck and really tested out an experienced ruckman by getting forward."
Jason Castagna (18 disposals, six marks, four inside-50s, one goal)
"Had a good day at the office. His contest ahead of the footy was pretty solid for us and his forward pressure, which we've come to expect from him, was at a really high level. He hit the scoreboard as well."
Sydney Stack (18 disposals, six inside-50s, three clearances)
"I thought he made some really good decisions to stay down at ground level and have an impact on the deck. He certainly looked like he had more time than most on a few different occasions, and I thought it was a really good step in the right direction after a bit of a break from footy."
Maurice Rioli (18 disposals, four inside-50s, two goals)
"I thought he responded extremely well to a difficult preparation for this game, having played on Friday night (as the medical sub in the AFL). To come out and have a real impact on the game the following day was extremely pleasing. He certainly puts fears into the opposition when he's in and around the footy hunting with his defensive pressure."
Sam Banks (16 disposals, four marks, two rebound-50s)
"Moved back to the backline this week and didn't miss a beat. I thought he defended really well, he made some great decisions on defence to impact, and I think it was a great step in the right direction for Sam's development as a long-term prospect for this club."
Tom Brown (15 disposals, four marks, three inside-50s)
"Almost a direct swap with Banksy, Browny went to the wing and whilst his numbers weren't huge, I thought he was really clean. He took some great marks and made some good decisions with the ball in his hands. It was a really good challenge for him to gain an understanding of a different role on the ground."
Rhyan Mansell (14 disposals, six marks, six rebound-50s)
"It was a really mature performance from him. He was targeted pretty heavily by the opposition and I thought he made some really good defensively decisions. You know what you're going to get from him, he was really strong in the content and he certainly defends like his life depends on it."
Josh Gibcus (11 disposals, six rebound-50s, five marks)
"Came in with a great attitude and made good decisions on whether to go for his mark or kill with a big spoilt. He played his role really well on the day. He almost took mark of the century, but had to settle for mark of the day on another attempt."
Bigoa Nyuon (11 disposals, nine hit-outs, five marks)
"Had a bit of time in the ruck. I think it's great for his development to learn different roles. He towers over opposition at centre bound with that big leap that he has. He's really taking some steps forward."
Judson Clarke (10 disposals, four marks, one goal)
"Whilst he didn't have great numbers, he ran some really good patterns and could have easily finished off with three or four goals. He brings his teammates into the game which is something we love to see."
Jacob Bauer (eight disposals, four marks, three tackles)
"Whilst he didn't hit the scoreboard on the goal side of things, he certainly provided a great contest for us up forward. We really value what he brings to our forward line, I think he's fitted into our team really well and he's not far away from breaking a game open."
