One of Peggy and Benny's mantras has been repeating that stability leads to success.
When you look at how many senior coaches clubs have had since 2000, the clubs with the fewest changes have won the bulk of the flags in that time.
8 – Carlton, Essendon, St Kilda
6 – Adelaide, North Melbourne
5 – Fremantle, Melbourne, Western Bulldogs
4 – Brisbane
3 – Collingwood, Gold Coast, Greater Western Sydney, Hawthorn, Port Adelaide, Richmond, Sydney, West Coast
2 – Geelong

23 seasons (1977-1999): 11 coaches ....... One flag and then into the wilderness.
23 seasons (2000-2022): 3 coaches ....... From the wilderness to 3 flags.
