You want a KFC related story?
When I was 10, I went to a schoolmate's birthday party. By the end, we were the only two kids left and we were still hungry. So, his dad drives down to the local Kentucky Fried Chicken and picks up an 18-piece bucket for just us two kids lol. We ate it all too - 9 pieces each! Now my mate was a skinny beanpole (taller than his mum at 11 :o ) and I was a skinny little kid at that age too. So, it wasn't like we were Jabba the Hutts. The reason being that after scoffing all that food we went out into the back alleyway and played cricket for the next 4 hours. You don't see kids playing street cricket or footy anymore as local streets are too busy now.

That is a solid effort. I can put away maybe 5 chicken strips before I'm totally cooked

Yeah, I don't think I could do it now. Hello middle age :P. It was also after eating cake, party pies, sausage rolls, fairy bread and all the usual stuff at kids' birthday parties back then. We also drank a heap of old school red cordial. No wonder we were on a massive energy high lol.

I've had bad days with KFC.
Wagged school with my mate when we were 16, grabbed an 18 piece bucket as soon as KFC opened, shoved it in our school bag to sneak into a movie and ate 9 pieces for breakfast at the flicks instead of going to school lol.
Also been in the drive thru at closing when they basically give it away. As much chicken as you want for $10 they said. So I said make my day then and got 20 pieces. Ate it for 3 days straight lmao.
These days I have it a few times a year and always feel immediately sick afterwards. Like a bad ex missus you keep going back and are quickly reminded how crap it is.

It's a 5-year sponsorship.
Tigers partner with KFC
Richmond is excited to welcome KFC Australia as a new Official Partner of the Club’s AFL and AFLW teams.
The five-year partnership, through to at least the end of the 2027 season, will see KFC’s logo appear on the AFL playing shorts and the top of the back of guernsey.
KFC are excited to be partnering with Richmond and look forward to celebrating the Club’s achievements alongside fans on game day, whether in the crowd or watching from home.
The iconic KFC brand will be prominent across Richmond matchdays and training sessions across the AFL and AFLW programs, building strong integration across the Club.
Richmond CEO Brendon Gale said the Club was delighted to have KFC on board for the next five years.
“We are delighted to have secured a long-term partnership with a well-known brand like KFC,” he said.
“It is fantastic to have KFC supporting our AFL and AFLW teams as we embark upon an exciting period for the Tiger Army and our football programs.
“We welcome KFC to the Richmond family and look forward to strengthening this partnership and building a recognisable affiliation across the next five years.”
Sally Spriggs, CMO at KFC Australia, commented: "As we near the 2023 season kick-off, KFC are thrilled to strengthen our support of footy by partnering with Richmond Football Club.
"It’s no secret that footy fans love the Colonel's treats, so we couldn’t think of a better opportunity to combine the two. Richmond is a club with a friendly and active following who does great things both on and off the field. We're excited to support the Tigers across this multi-year partnership and can’t wait to celebrate the Club’s accomplishments together with fans.”
Richmond will debut its new KFC branding across its traditional Yellow and Black playing kit when the Club hosts Carlton at the MCG in the AFL season opener on March 16.
