Miller could actually be a useful sub tbh
Going to be wet most of the day on Saturday and Essendon are missing a few of their talls such as Wright, Cox and Jones.
I think Clarke will get the sub gig again out of the emergencies.

Agree he deserves his chance. He just needs to make the most of his opportunity..
Disappointed Nankervis has been selected. His form does not deserve automatic selection in my view.

Me too, surprised it took this long. Has been good in the VFL and I really hope he has a standout game and plays a bit of an Edwards role.

Needs to show something. Unfortunately, for Dow he seems to struggle with the pace and physicality of the game

He might be a bit lucky as no one else (who is not in the naughty corner) has put their name up in lights, it will be good for him to get a feel for the game and also hoping he makes the best of opportunity and shows he is worth persevering with.

hope im wrong, but i think dow wont make it as an afl footballer. Much like his brother they dont like the hard stuff.
Dud pick in a strong draft hurts so i hope he does something for once.

Going to be wet and not sure how Sampson would go in the wet?

Dimma said Nank will play limited gametime (less than the normal 80% time in the ruck). So, Samson will still get a decent time in the ruck tomorrow night. Essendon also play two rucks (Draper & Phillips), so we'll need to rotate both Nank & Samson against them.

Ryan has been good footy. Be a shame to see him battle up forward in the wet to accommodate Nank as it has been a stuffing delight seeing a ruckman hit the footy to the advantage of a yellow & black shirt
