No shift in team selection or player position going by that.
Cumberland still on the outer.
-
Thank God we changed things up so we could not change things up.
If someone could just grab that Marlion Pickett magnet and sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide it up toward one of the wings that'd be great.

I wonder which opposition team Beaker will be playing for next year?
Gets BOG in the VFL and still doesn't get to step up. Phooey! :P
-
Would really like to see Sam Banks get a run
Wouldn't be at all surprised if Ryan has a spell and Miller comes in. Miller is a bigger body than Samson and think we will need it
-
dear oh dear the more things change the more they stay the same lol.
Seems we no longer need fwds just need mids and onballers in the team.
Win lose or draw this game we are kidding ourselves. We are not evolving and we are not addressing anything.
-
Would have liked to see the following get a game.
Dow - Yes he had a poor game but show some faith and persevere.
Miller - Would love to see him play as a big defender again, he looked the goods before we moved him out of that role. Prefer him to Young.
Sonsie - I would start him on ball and show some faith that he will do the role well. He has earnt a recall.
Banks - On a wing instead of McIntosh he too has probably earnt a game.
Cumberland - Play him for the rest of the season
Bradtke - sheesh lets see what he can offer. an athletic 197cm 95kg key fwd is exactly what we are screaming out for. If not totally out of his depth id play him the rest of the season.
Clarke/MRJ/Campbell - one of because they are first and foremost fwds.
Would now play Cotchin to 300 as quick as possible and then look elsewhere for the rest of the season.
Clearly the shift is to younger blokes for me. Younger blokes who can offer something and address hopefully some needs.
Vlastuin - Miller - Grimes.
Broad - Balta -Rioli. If Brown was fit and had some vfl behind him id be picking him here.
C: Pickett - Martin - Banks.
R: Nankervis - Taranto - Sonsie
HF: Cumberland - Riewoldt - Clarke/MRJ/Campbell. One of those three as a genuine fwd.
FF: Bolton - Bradtke - Ryan.
INT: Cotchin - Baker - Dow - Short.
Sub McIntosh/Ross/Graham/Prestia. Reckon dion is injured and needs a rest. if not he is just plain struggling then.
-
I'm really hoping we do something different at 5pm. If we just play the same way with the same line up and lose then Mini may as well pack up and go away.
There's a real chance for him to go bang and place his mark over this team, with the ins so far I'm a bit meh..
However, if w we win and he gets improved showings from a few then that's great.
-
Say it again finals a gone rest of year about development and who stays and who goes if the club thinks otherwise there dreaming change things around give games to our youngsters.

Floss to miss :(.
In: Young, Miller
Out: Vlastuin (corked leg), Dow (omitted), Clarke (Round 10 substitute)

Jeez could have at least given Banks a crack
-
Bit of run out from the side.
-
Hardwick's resignation renewed my interest in the year as I thought we might at least see a younger, different side with the magnets moved about but seems we're just going to continue to limp to the line with same uninspiring, shytehouse selections.... :sleep

Finalised 22.

Well Pickett being named on ball's a start I guess..... :shh
-
'Spy' tells me Dan Rioli is a watch (back related). Didn't train with the main group today. Did run some laps in the end. Hopefully a bit more physio gets him right to play by Sunday :pray.
-
Frankly I hope he misses....we're not playing finals so why risk him doing further damage and hopefully it gives Banks a chance or we send Morris Mansell down back and they bring in Cumberland... :shh
-
Clearly not McCrae but the whole footy dept think we dont need to rebuild that we can win the flag this year. Its nonsense.
When we criticise from here on in don't just blame the new coach we really need to look at all of the footy dept.

Hopefully a late change? I feel the team sheet is a bit tall going in the wet ?

Tend to agree
Not sure Ryan, Young and Miller in the same side is the way to go
***didn't include Nank in the above list as it is a given he is playing and no chance of being left out

I would like Dow to get a crack along with Sonsie
