Out Pickett (how the hell is he getting a game), Cotchin, Reiwoldt (both done), Grimes, Macintosh, Mansell.
In Nank, Coulthard, Cumberland, Sonsie, Brown, Bauer .
Honestly don't care who comes in but if McQualter wants the gig he needs to stop picking players on reputation.
Pickett has been useless for 6 weeks

BAUER, NANKERVIS, SHORT

dont need to see the game as nothing has changed for me. The priority has to be play kids and at least try to address serious weaknesses in the team.

Personally and i keep saying it id be playing Miller as kpd i just dont think Young is a long term solution. But atm it seems he is injured.
Pickett back to his wing where he belongs ross to midfield instead of Cotchin who has been very poor.Cumberland forward instead of Pickett.  Marlion's form also  does not warrant a spot atm but i believe he will produce in his right role.

Ins -   Bauer,  Brown, Nankervis, Clarke, Cumberland, Ryan.
Outs - McIntosh, Soldo, Cotchin, Graham ,Mansell Grimes.

B: Broad - Young - Vlastuin. we could play Bauer here if needed.
HB: Rioli - Balta - Brown. Time to give this kid a debut.

C: Banks - Ross - Pickett. Persevering with Banksy and of course pickett back to his best role.
R: Nankervis - Taranto - Martin. After watching Gawn tear Soldo a new one its welcome back skip.

HF: Clarke - Riewoldt - Cumberland. Hang on a minute what have i done natural fwds it won't happen have to find a role for favorite mids
F:  Ryan - Bauer - Bolton. Ryan would be a good match for english imo and Bauer offers  flexability and height where its needed most.

Int: Hopper - Prestia - Baker - Undecided atm.

Just play the kids tiges and stop kidding yourselves. You know what i think that side could win.

As long as it’s not raining bring in nank, Ryan. Dogs have lost Keith and Bruce, need to stretch their backline.

Rain won't be a factor as we are under the roof at Comic Book Stadium this week

INS: Nank, Short, Cumberland

OUTS: Banks, Pickett, Soldo, Cotchin (managed)

Coulthard comes into the starting 22

Can't play Nank and Soldo in the same side especially at Comic Book Stadium

who stank it up the most.
Imo Graham, Cotchin, McIntosh, Grimes, Pickett, Mansell Miller. Balta.

Miller - almost invisible before being injured  out.
Graham - his usual trick a very good game then a return to what was absolutely awful. He is not a fwd and is down the list as a mid.
Cotchin - has really struggled lately and needs to give way for a kid. Would try Ross as his replacement allowing Pickett to play wing.
McIntosh - as usual escapes criticism but wait he played his role lol. almost invisible and not having any impact again.
Grimes - just has to be dropped he has been that poor. Sad to see him playing the way he is.
Pickett - just poor and struggling as a fwd. Surely the coaches can see this. No drop for him for me just put him back on his wing to find some needed touch.
Mansell - apart from some good tackles had no impact at all.
Balta - yep had a shocker but was probably due a poor one. We all saw what happens when he fails the backline falls apart.

Others were ordinary. Most praising Young up,  he was poor in his primary roles of stopping an opponent and helping his fellow talls in the air.
Ross - was average and well down on recent games. Just makes sense that we play him in Cotchins place and that then allows pickett his wing.
Banks - well he got an education but did give us rebound. and it needs to continue.
Soldo - yes he battled his guts out but the bottom line he got towelled up when we needed him most.
JR -  well unfair he struggled to have an influence but i would hate to have to play under the circumstances he does week in.
Prestia - getting a little bit of ball still but he also is struggling to have an impact. Been an ordinary year from dion this year.

We need to actually play some fwds we need to get some height into the fwd half and we need to resume Ryans education in the ruck and helping out fwd. We also need some youth pace and enthusiasm injected into the side.

RICHMOND will be boosted by the return of ruckman Toby Nankervis from suspension for Friday night’s clash against the Western Bulldogs

And Richmond interim coach Andrew McQualter said he would have no qualms playing Nankervis in the same side as Ivan Soldo.

“They’ve played in a premiership together, so we know they can play together,” McQualter said after Sunday’s loss to Melbourne.

Hugo Ralphsmith, Judson Clarke and Maurice Rioli Junior would be in the mix for a senior re-call, while Matthew Coulthard could be due for an elevation to the starting 22 after two impressive outings as the sub.

In the Mix: Round 21

The Tigers escaped Sunday's loss to Melbourne with no new injuries but expect at least two changes to face the Bulldogs this week, with Jayden Short ready to return from injury and Toby Nankervis from suspension.

Substitute Matt Coulthard only had three disposals after coming on in the third quarter, but his first touch was a goal and he again lifted his teammates' energy levels.

The man he replaced, Ben Miller, has been relatively quiet through the past month, but may be needed to help handle the Dogs' tall forwards.

Noah Cumberland and Jacob Bauer are both available if Andrew McQualter wants to change around the attack, although the most likely to step aside, Rhyan Mansell, was strong against the Demons.

Tigers great Jack Riewoldt has offered just four goals in his last six appearances and could be managed in a do-or-die clash with the Bulldogs.

Richmond would have a hard time replacing the tall forward, although the return of ruckman Toby Nankervis could free Ivan Soldo to rest forward of the ball.

Medium forward Noah Cumberland could add much-needed firepower to the Tiger's attack, having kicked six goals in his last VFL showing.

As mentioned in the other thread, Cotch won't play this week.

Short is fine now (close thing last week) and will play. Nank back too obviously.

This snippet from the Captain's run today, shows Nank, Short, Bauer and Clarke added to squad from last week (minus Cotch).

ps. 'Spy' says Cumberland was out there too but no Miller.
