Next up is Cumberland.
Noah played 9 out of a possible 23 games this season to take his career tally to 18. He played six games in a row between rounds 3 and 8 before being dropped. After that he only came back for one-off appearances against GWS (R12), Brisbane (R16) and the Bulldogs (R21). Cumberland only reached double-digit possessions twice this year (in both Bulldogs matches). His best goalscoring return was 3 goals against Melbourne on Anzac Eve.

How did we all rate Cumberland's 2023?

2 from me.
At least his tackles went up.
Otherwise his confidence was low and I feel like he was a bit of a whipping boy. In a team with such a poor forward line it's disappointing that he wasn't played more consistently.
The fact that MRJ played more games than him is diabolical IMO.
I really hope he plays more games in 2024 and gets a fair go.
-
Yes a whipping boy within the club, managed his development so badly I’d be surprised if he wants to stay at our club.
Players don’t usually lose ability , but they sure lose confidence , would be a star at Brisbane ( might not be interested in GC

Shame because he can be far better
Hopefully it happens and it doesn’t end up a waste of a career
-
Got on the wrong side of the man of influence and the captain in waiting Jack "The Machine" Graham for some reason, likely jealousy of his clearly superior natural talent, and found himself on the outer.... :shh
-
Was a disappointment.
Agree with the comment about talent but talent alone isn’t enough.
Should be a 40-50 goal forward, he is one of a few who can rapidly improve the team next year if that can put it together under a new coach
-
Gave him a 3 and that's a borderline 3
It was clear at times he was betwixt and between. Not sure what to do and it clearly played havoc with his confidence
Having said when he did play he went missing far too much. I don't think he does himself any favours when he waves his arms around when he doesn't get hit lace out. He drops his head far too much and his body language at times is terrible
People harp on about what our then coach said about him early in the season. But IMHO Dimma was right, the kid can be anything but he needs to do the little things, the chasing, the tackling, park the poor body language and do the hard work
-
I think his main issue is his attitude, has the talent just needs to work on it
-
Bit of both to blame this situation club and player. Let me say Dimma bs him around we can't have him in the team either him or Dusty and then starting Cotchin as a forward very poorly managed.
-
Sort of with everyone else here. Thought he was harshly treated but the bottom line is when given opportunities he just did not take them
and was poor in too many of the games he did play. Gave him a three.

Hope yze works some magic on him, has huge potential IMHO
