Yep. Want another.

Interesting that even with this supposed ever increasing popularity of the AFLW, the vast majority supporters want still want the AFL players to have sons and are disappointed when they don't...... :shh
-
A season without a double-digit long injury list would be nice.
A breakout year from a few cubs.
Defensive accountability as a team such as protecting the defensive side of contests/stoppages. Add a proper tackling technique to the list as well.

There is quite a large difference between preferring the mens team to the women’s or even only being interesting in the mens team, to wishing for the women’s competition to fold, even if it was in somewhat in jest.
Like even if it does just make a small population of people happy, why does it bother you so much? Have you tried simply ignoring it as I’m sure you do other things which don’t interest you?

All I want for Christmas is... every club's 2024 wishlist

A clean bill of health for the premiership veterans is a clear No.1 on new coach Adem Yze's annual letter to the North Pole. With a fit Tom Lynch, Dustin Martin, Dylan Grimes and Toby Nankervis at his disposal, Yze will have experience and skill on every line. If any of those stars fall over, however, Richmond's depth rapidly falls away and the club could quickly find itself in on-field strife. The Tigers will be keen to find out what their next generation of youngsters can deliver at the highest level and it'll be hard to gauge if they don't have the old warriors alongside the kids.

‘Anything but Jack Riewoldt’s new book’: AFL stars’ Christmas wishes
We asked the players at your favourite club what they’re super keen for this Christmas, and it appears one Tiger has all the information he needs on a Richmond great.

Got the Riewoldt and Cotchin books. Good reads, but nothing too controversial in them.
Cotch did say that Jack Higgins was both good and bad for Richmond, but that's a story for another day.
-
I had a sensational experience with Jack Higgins
He saved the day when my daughter had a shatteringly disappointing experience with Jack Riewoldt .. all always respect Higgins for the great kindness he showed my daughter at a time her idol was pathetic

Haven't read the book and likely won't be but have heard the same thing but more bad than good :shh

For me one of the problems with Higgins was when he made his rather foolish comments about why he couldn't understand why he was dropped in 2020 and didn't get picked for the 2020 GF. Seriously, if young Jack didn't know then he was clearly delusional.
But glad he was great to your daughter Damo

My mrs set me up with a great IPTV subscription
Been watching fox footy perfectly (no buffering) and another 4000+ channels and a heap of movies
Best present for years, and plenty of Richmond games to watch now without hunting for streams etc
Anyone wanting any details shoot me a PM .. definitely better than missing the Foxtel games or paying high amounts for Kayo or Foxtel
Works on phone/smart tv/computer etc

Cotch does come across as quite whipped

I honestly don’t know one “WAG’s” name without looking it up aside from Nadia Bartel and Brooke Cotchin
Both in the headlines for different reasons
Feel sorry for Nadia
Brooke on the other hand ….
Trent is obviously Mrs Cotchin at home .. amazing considering how tough he was on the field .. what a leader he was and how lucky was the RFC to have him !
But dunno if he’d be the type to “drink with the boys”
-
A bit harsh , he had interests out of football as he said it kept him grounded and you don’t have to drink with the boys to be a good leader and was always there for the boys when they needed help

Did I say you have to drink with the boys to be a good leader
Reckon I might have said the following -

Dusty ought to be thankful we had a country boy like Trent for a captain. Imagine if we'd had the Melbourne or West Coke leadership.Boy from the wrong side of the tracks could have ended up very badly.
