Title: Changes for next week against the Lions?
Post by: one-eyed on May 11, 2024, 10:42:24 PM
Forced outs - Graham, Banks, Maurice.

Anyone want to pull on their boots?! :P

Anyway, fire away with your changes?

In: Coulthard, Grimes and Green.
Ryan should also come in.

We all know who should come in for Banks but deep down we all know who will come in for Banks:

Team Tips:

Amid all the criticism around the terrible Bulldogs loss, the Tigers may only have 26 fit players for this weekend. The club confirmed Maurice Rioli jnr (syndesmosis) would be out for 8-10 weeks, while Jack Graham (hamstring) is expected to miss one to two weeks and Sam Banks (concussion) will be sidelined at least one game. Seth Campbell (knee) will miss one to two weeks, plus James Trezise (concussion) and Jacob Koschitzke (rolled ankle) copped blows in the VFL. Liam Baker (corked leg) and Dylan Grimes (managed) are meanwhile named as tests for this week. If the pair are clared, it could mean the Tigers will at least have a couple of choices to make with 28 fit players - while Kane McAuliffe was excellent in the VFL.

What happened to Campbell? Not that he doesn't need a rest tbh.

Graham, Banks, Trezise are no loss.

MRJ is and there's an argument for playing Kosi (or Ryan).

Surely it will look something like this.

Out
MRJ
Graham
Banks
Campbell

In
Ryan
McAuliffe
Grimes
Baker

He is young, maybe they are holding him back for some reason, same with Ryan??

Richmond will have to make four changes at a minimum, after yet another weekend of carnage on the injury front. The front half has been particularly affected, with Jack Graham (hamstring), Seth Campbell (bone bruising in his knee) and Maurice Rioli jnr (syndesmosis) all ruled out, with winger Sam Banks (concussion) also joining them on the sidelines. Liam Baker (soreness) and Dylan Grimes (back) are tests, with Kamdyn McIntosh likely to come back into the frame after a week in the VFL, given the length of the injury list. Late inclusion Noah Cumberland should hold his spot given the forward line chaos, while Steely Green and Kaleb Smith should push for their debuts. Matthew Coulthard is also one who could feature for his first AFL game of the year.
