At this stage we have 2 guys vying for CHB, Sarge and Hall. Must admit that I don't really rate Hall that highly. He is neither really quick nor really strong, a bit of an in-between tall (he is quite mobile though) who can do the occasional job on an opposition key-forward. And Schulz would be put to better use deep in the forward line. If we were to play Schulz at CHB, at best I reckon he would be competitive, whereas if he played up forward he could cause some real damage.
It came to me that we could play Paddy Bowden at CHB. While he will never be an All Australian or B&F winning CHB, I reckon he could be competitive in that spot. His got the sufficient height (albeit just enough), enough athleticism and would have more mobility than most other key forwards. Also he probably will have help from his bro and other defenders like Chubba playing loose across half-back. Could be a good move for us as a side.
What do you guys reckon?

I don't think Paddy likes the contested stuff too much.

Suppose so

Paddy is tall enough but not one for jostling and contesting marks/spoils. Also, as someone said in another thread, if Razor plays in defence he is better suited to CHB. Once he is pushed close to goal (FB) it's a worry.
