I was pleased (and it's not really the right word) that he took responsibility for the coaching effort put up yesterday. Coaches and their coaching were crap yesterday

That's a cop out mate blaming the coaches' blow torch should be on our senior group and second tier group. To many passengers, the brain fades and go missing, leaving the kids to do it. Not even doing the basics. Besides a few you can name on 3 fingers who's stood up since rd 1.This was the same issue last season. Kids having their green patches and showing a bit there not the issue.

its a combination of 2, the kids not included in that rabble of a second half. Trainor is improving and campbell is a class above at this stage.

there was some shocking half hearted efforts i saw namely led by Miller, Ross and Hopper. Ross has had a shocking 2 games.

why wasnt sinclair or mcreae tagged in the second half?

This is probably not that relevant but many years ago , decades ago a football coach of mine said to us players , I don’t really want you to think out there , I want you to carry out exactly what I tell you to do .
Maybe Adems message just doesn’t get through or maybe his message is wrong . Or maybe many of our players aren’t able to action what he wants . …. Long winter ahead I’m afraid.
As the late great John Kennedy said …… just do .

It isn't a cop out. Halftime we were in the game. At halftime the coach made changes to things that were clearly working. Why change something that's working?

That's not player driven that is poor coaching.

The poor efforts by our senior core is on them no doubt.

But when the coach and his assistants stuff they deserve whacks. A d yesterday ther learned to be whacked like the players

Agree WP
Disgraceful

Kamdyn on Macrae was working
Green on Sinclair was working

So he felt the need to change that

Then when we are getting obliterated, he moves Floss forward, where the ball never was. So his general down back was gone.

If he’s trying to lose so we finish bottom, he’s a genius. If he’s trying to win, we need a new coach. Because he clearly has no idea.

I think yesterday proved it.

When by drunk Filipino brother, who is watching about his 10th game of football, is asking questions regarding Sinclair, it’s a worry.

You really think any of the changes influenced the game each to their own I don't
What I seen was besides Nank and Macca lazy efforts, lack of pressure and intensity and dumb brain fades. Where is that intensity from rd one from our senior blokes waiting for the kids to do it.

Agree WP and Damo. Just perplexing moves when at half-time the game was in a winnable position :huh3.

The other issue I have with Yze's gamestyle is our poor defensive positioning at contests and stoppages allowing the opposition to waltz out the front. Being front and square seems to be a foreign concept for many of our smalls. With a young list we should be installing good habits from the start.
