Yeah I'm not sure about Bauer, his kicking is a bit suspect which is never a good thing as a forward.

I'd be dropping Dow for Balta and shuffling the positions a bit.

Balta can play mid or wing.

I’d be getting games into Armstrong, Faull, Sims and Fawcett all ahead of Bauer personally.

Yes to both posts on Baur. I loved him last year but doesn’t seem to be doing much as he’s been given a month so probably time.

Team Tips:

After a disappointing second-half fadeout against St Kilda in Round 3, the Tigers were scrappy last Saturday in staying with the Lions in the second half despite trailing by almost five goals at half-time. Forward Jacob Bauer started as the tactical sub, replacing Kamdyn McIntosh after the veteran managed eight disposals from 65 per cent game-time. In the VFL, first-round pick Jonty Faull booted 2.2 from nine disposals as he continues to build into his first AFL season, while fellow draftee Tom Sims (17 disposals, six tackles, 10 hitouts and a goal) was busy playing a hybrid role, and Samson Ryan was industrial kicking 1.3 from 23 possessions. No.7 pick Josh Smillie made his VFL debut, having recovered from a hamstring complaint that interrupted his pre-season, collecting 10 disposals and a couple of clearances in managed minutes.

Surprising, not mad about it but thought Sims would’ve been closer given his longer preseason.

Like Sims, Faull hits the packs hard and loves contact. Great trait for a young key fwd

Bauer is my guess. Started sub. Next spot down the list is VFL

Yep knew his last week Damo. Listen to his presser.

He has lost me after this. Weak as pee is an understatement. Bowing down to that loser who lets Africans with machetes invade your home, or Muslims into the g with guns whilst on bail

Wild.

Just can’t believe it

What happened to stating Noah needed to be out there, and was desperate to play and that we support him

Someone above Yze made the call on this ..

All because he levelled a borderline paedo scumbag who was spruiking looking for 18yo’s in his own words .. the bloke is the pitts .. Noah probably did everyone there a favour

He's playing in the VFL match v the Australian U'18s to gain some match fitness - so technically he's not still suspended which is at least what they want us to believe. Guessing it will take one more VFL match after this which is *coincidentally* just before his sentence hearing to fully regain said "match fitness". :shh

When this whole saga started  Ooze said that Noah would be expected to EARN his jumper back when he was clear to play again.  Noah's time starts now, so go & EARN it!
VFL is the only way to show that you are ready, willing & able.
Yze is holding him accountable while also making it possible for him to get back to playing AFL.  Redemption starts with compromise, or else Noah may as well quit now!
Does anybody expect Noah to just walk back into the side as if nothing ever happened?  We have jumpers for those who earn them & deserve them, it sets a standard for all players to live up to.

I have no doubt if it wasn't for the high court of public opinion's ruling he would be playing

..I'm genuinely surprised he's not playing

I would have picked him and started him as the sub

But some good points you raise JP Tiger.

Agree with WP response to this.

Probably the most balanced and acceptable reason.

This club has fallen a long way since 2020. We are so easily pushed aside - on and off field

Agree

If all the external noise didn’t happen this week, there is NO WAY he’s coming back via the VFL
