First up in these player season reviews is Hopper.
He played every game this season (one of 5 Tigers to do so) and statistically had one of his best years in his AFL career to date (2021 with the Giants was similar).

How did we all rate Hopper's year?

Had a good/v.good year individually and was great to see him play every single game this year after a couple of injury plagued seasons.
Clear issue is that he is a prominent member of a very experienced, mature midfield lineup that got belted for large parts of several games by less experienced midfield groups. I put that more on the coaching group not having any flexibility in their rotations to mixup the on ball brigade.

8/10 for me
I know he's got a role and limitations but I'd like to see him do a bit more offensive damage.
I've seen him impact games that way, so I know he can.
