Can't believe they're essentially making the stand rule worse
-
They announced 7 yesterday
Takes the total for 2026 to 9

Yep rather giving it the flick, they make it more farcical than already is.
Wonder what impact the rucks not beong able to cross centre line will impact on Nank?

AFL rules and regulations memo sent to clubs for feedback:
- Intentional gut punches = 1 week.
- Pushing in a marking contest = rough conduct & a suspension.
- Contact with umpire 4+ times = 1 week suspension.
- Clubs who have 4+ umpire contact incidents = fine.
- Player fines escalate over one season, not two.
- Wiggle room in careless cases where where concussion occurs to suspend for 1-2 weeks and not just 3 or nothing.
- Players who have Thu night game will have any tribunal case heard before Tue arvo/night.
