Stitched up by Brisbane Lions forward Daniel Bradshaw on the weekend, life will not get any easier for Melbourne defender Nathan Carroll this Friday night with Matthew Richardson looming as a possible opponent.
Melbourne assistant coach Anthony Rock said Carroll, who had eight goals kicked on him by Bradshaw in Saturday night's victory over the Lions, or the rejuvenated Ben Holland, were in line for the job on the Richmond spearhead.
"At this point in time he's probably (the most ideal candidate for Richardson)," said Rock on Monday morning.
"Ben Holland can probably play that role as well. He's been terrific for us down back. He's getting the bigger type body players and he's been doing extremely well."
"He seems to be moving pretty well. He's got some agility in his game so he may be another option for us."

Both candidates sound appealing to me.
LMAO@Richo running Ben off his legs and a repeat lazy 8 would be nice on Carroll.

Sarge will be at FF so you'd reckon he'll get Carroll. Richo will just have to give Holland the run around. That will force Daniher to move Rivers onto the big fella leaving Holland in no man's land. If the Dees go tall in defence then Terry will play a small forward line with Sarge deep as he did against the Pies and Port.

I don't think I'm letting out Terry's trade secrets lol. We tried that last year but Daniher moved Holland forward and the big lug kicked 3 goals straight :banghead.
