Title: Yeah or Neah - 19. Dean Limbach

Polo, Petts, Paddy, Sugar are safe while Rodan is contracted for another year so Limbach is up next.

Limbach was one of 3 Tigers who didn't play a RFC game this year (Casserly and Graham the others). He was leading goalkicker at Coburg with 30.11 from 15 games in the seniors and 20.10 from 5 games in the ressies. He's in his second year. Will he get a third?

neither Limbach or Rodan will be in RFCs next premiership side. No to both.

What X said - When he gets his chance, I reckon he will be like polo - start with a bang. He just strikes me as having that X factor.

This is one of the really tough ones I reckon.

I've seen most of Limbach's games for Coburg. He is like a yo-yo - up one week goes missing the next.

He won them the game against Port Melbourne but then couldn't get the ball the next 2 weeks.

I think he has all the ability in the world it's what goes on above the shoulders that's the key IMHO. Like New York Yankee legend Yogi Berra once said "90% of the game is half mental"  :rollin or something like that.

He really needs to get bigger he's about 6ft 3 but is as skinny as a rake.

The Tigers could always rookie him instead of keeping him on the main list.

Having said that I'd give him 1 more year but throw challenge right at him and say get in the gym and we expect senior footy out of you - 8 games minimum. If he can't produce that then it will time to go.

So for me it's a YEah (just) for 2007

True WP like a number of our guys. He's listed at only 84kg so he realy needs to add at least 6kg to his frame over summer and get to 90kg+. The yo-yo factor you can tolerate for a second year semi-tall. Agree with WP and keep Limbach on just a one-year deal.

Yeah, a keeper for 2007.

Agree that he needs to add bulk & develop a consistent attacking presence (at goals and in packs) in the Fwd line at the Burgers prior to being tested at AFL level.

reckon he can make it, but probably as a key defender though
