Title: Did Nathan Thompson play 2's with us?

Nathan Thompson is guest presenter with Bruce Eva tonight on SEN. They were talking Vic cricket and unless I completely misheard him, Thompson said he played 2's with Nick Jewell at Richmond. I can't remember him in a Tigers' jumper ???

MT, think he might be referring to the cricket club.

Nick played at RCC before moving to St. Kilda CC.

Definetly didnt play footy with us. Wax build up must be great, :gotigers

He certainly played against us in a Reserves Grand Final. He was just a top up player for Hawthorn and chubba was playing on him.

Thommo was carving us up and winning the game off his own boot. He went down in the second qtr and we won the game. I cant believe we never drafted him after that game. Hawthorn's pick was after ours and we could have taken him.

Thommo was taken at pick 82 in the 1997 national draft.

Our picks were

Pick 2 - Brad Ottens
Pick 52 - Lionel Proctor
Pick 69  - Paul Greenham
Pick 71 - Andrew Kellaway
Pick 79 - Not utilised

Thompson taken with pick 82!!!!!

Nick Jewell played around 1996-97 and as a Bully said Thompson was drafted with pick 82 in 1997, so we had a young FF in our ressies when we trying to find one at the time yet we didn't draft Thompson  ???.
