Title: Tigers On A Good Wicket
Post by: Moi on November 15, 2006, 09:22:36 AM
The annual Mike Smith Cup cricket clash between Richmond Football Club and Omega Cricket Club will be held on Sunday, November 26 at G.R. Bricker Reserve in Moorabbin from 1pm onwards.

With the popular 20/20 limited-overs format, it once again shapes as a terrific afternoon’s entertainment for the whole family.

There will be a sporting memorabilia charity auction, a $2000 ‘last ticket out’ draw, jumping castles, show-bags, face-painting, police and fire vehicles on display, plus plenty of great give-aways.

All money raised from the auction will be donated to the ‘Tigers In Community’ program.

The Tiger team will be led by veteran stars Joel Bowden and Matty Richardson, and they are promising exciting cricket from the Punt Road boys.

A panel of celebrities and players from other AFL clubs will rotate as captains throughout the match.

• The 2006 Mike Smith Cup is proudly sponsored by the Highett Football Club.
