Title: Bombers still cut about losing to us last year

Lloyd was on SEN just before 2pm. He's excuse for Essendon winning only 4 games last year was a lack of confidence after narrow losses early on in the year. He then said they should never have lost that (dreamtime) game to us  :rollin.

Too bad Lloydy we had more scoring shots (13.19 to 13.17) and for most of the game (apart from a Lucas cameo in the last quarter) we were in front for most of the night. Up yours!   :gotigers

What a deluded halfwit he is.

We could say something similar, we could say we should never have won that game by two points, we should have won it by five goals. They were lucky they got us on a bad day when we didn't come to play and we still won anyway.

Spot on RR. In both games last year we should have had them won by half-time but we became complacent when we got a decent lead and let them back in. This year we must be relentless and go after percentage when we have a side on the ropes just as the top sides did to us in our 100 point hidings.

I cherish the memory of Hirdy's droopy bottom lip :'( on tellie the Sunday after we thumped them in the '95 final.
They really do have this born to rule mentality still happening.  The whole club is up themselves.
