Which 5 Tigers are the key to us taking the next step this year?

Next step being say a few more wins or at least being (more) competitive with the sides that gave us a touch up last year.

Your guys and gals thoughts.

Patto
Clever
Polaxe
Danny M
Sarge
KP  players, all have shown potentail but now need to show consistancy
In times to come these 5 will actually become our line up the guts

I have left players out who are match winners ie  Brownie, Richo and other established team members as they are not going to become any more influential than they are now
I have also not included the likes of Lids, Rainsey,Marco, Blingers, and Axel as they are all in the starting 22 for any game now
My group of 5 are  fringe dwellers who are ready to become permanent 07 Tigers

1. Brown - Imperative he gets back to near his best form as he's a creative dynamo as well as great foil for Richo/Schulz up front.

2. Simmonds - Despite his ankle injury, he must reproduce near to his '06 form for us to be a success in '07.

3. Schulz - This is now or never for young Jay. Must stay healthy, make a KP his own and finally work well with Richo.

4. Deledio - Has all the tools to become the AFLs next superstar. Tough lessons in '06(tags, poor defence) should stand him well.

5. Tambling - If Bling can become the skilfull, inside midfielder that this club is after, he's going to make a huge difference.

1. Browny - Same reasoning as Magic. He's about our only A-grade player at the moment when in full flight. Except for the Pies and Port games his 2006 was a write off so if he can get near his best again he'll be a major plus thsi year.

2. Simmo - As Jack said in another thread we need him  ;). Not necessarily at centre bounces but for the running and following work he does. I wouldn't have had him in this list if he hadn't broken his ankle but his level of recovery will have a big say in our season.

3. White - His preseason form has been good and if he can translate that into the real stuff he'll add depth to our midfield as well as playing in a similar small defender role to Rainesy last year.

4. Tambling - Showed glimpses last year but for us to improve we need his pace in the midfield and for him to rise to the consistency of at least Lids.

5. Polak - Similar to Simmo in his first year with us, I'm not expecting too much from Polly. I would be happy with solid reliable efforts. If he can hold down CHB that will free up Joel to play all 22 games in his best role as a attacking rebounding defender.
