Post by: one-eyed on February 02, 2007, 01:53:53 PM
There's a new poll on the RFC website:

Which of Richmond’s new draftees will have the biggest impact at senior league level in 2007?

Current results (169 votes):
Jack Riewoldt    67%
Shane Edwards 17%
Daniel Connors 11%
Carl Peterson    5%
Andrew Collins  1%

I reckon the first 3 will play some senior games this year. Riewoldt might get quite a few but he has to break into a forward line containing Richo, Kingsley and Schulz.

Petersen has OP so he's likely to be put onto the long-term injury list which will allow Howat to be promoted to the senior list again.

I haven't seen any of them play or train, so going by the hype I'd say Riewoldt  :-\

"I don't think any of these guys will have a big impact this season"

That is unless we have quite a few injuries which is a possible given what has happened the last few years.

I should then rephase my statement

"I hope none of these guys has a big impact this season"

But wait, that sounds like I don't think they are any good. Which is not true.   hmmmm

"Unless we have many injuries none of these guys should have a big iimpact this season"     Thats close enough.I think you know what I mean.

Daniel Connors - only because no one is expecting it. ;)
