Are they the new annoying door-to-door salesmen who can't get a real job? Do they actually expect to make a sale?
Are they like the mormons who you tell to get on their bike or try to feed hash cookies?
Are they like the Seventh Day Adventists who you get rid of by telling them there are too many drug references in the Bible? (eg - people getting stoned to death).

Basically, do these numbnuts actually do it for some good reason like financial gain or just to piddle people off?

Switched on the computer and had 252 emails :gobdrop

Of which..............

246 were spam :banghead :banghead

Post by: tiga on February 07, 2007, 12:54:40 PM: At my workplace we get approx 16000 spam that hit our firewall per day but they are all blocked except for a few stragglers by our excellent perimeter security. I get maybe 2 a day after filtering which is pretty damn impressive.

Admins, I've run forums before and the only way to beat the spambots is to have admin activated accounts only after a reply email is received. A bit of extra work but it is 100% effective. :thumbsup
