The news was better on Richardson, who only suffered tightness in his hamstring after taking himself off in the second term.
"I would say we would rest him next week and then he will be right to get going again so it’s not disastrous," Wallace said of Richardson's injury.

Leave him until round 1 please Terry. :pray

Paul Armstrong is now saying 1-2 weeks. Richo is having scans today but the Club believes it's only a minor strain. He felt tightness in his right hammy and back so we didn't take any risk. Remember he had back spasms not so long ago :-\.

Richo was on Ch 9 news and although he said it was only a minor hammy and hadn't completely done it he might not play again before round 1.
Ch 7 news said Browny will be rested also this week.

RICHMOND'S Matthew Richardson has been cleared of major damage to his right hamstring, but will miss Saturday's practice match against Sydney in Canberra.
Richardson had scans after over-stretching his hamstring during the second quarter of Sunday's match against Geelong.
"I've had plenty of hammys and if you do them properly you don't run off the ground, so it's pretty minor," Richardson said last night.
"It's not ideal to have anything at this stage of the year, you'd like to be out there playing.
"But as long as you're out there Round 1 (against Carlton on April 1), and you've had one or two practice matches, that's probably ideal."

Richardson will have to wait at least a fortnight to make his return after straining a hamstring in the Tigers' NAB Cup opener.
Wallace said he was unsure whether Richardson would be risked in the Tigers' final pre-season hitout, but was confident he would play in the round-one clash with Carlton.
"He'll be absolutely up and fine by round one," Wallace said.
