Richmond will be conceding more than 1200 games experience when it takes on the Sydney Swans in Saturday’s NAB Regional Challenge practice match at Manuka Oval in Canberra.
The 25-man Tiger team contains nearly every young player on the Club’s senior list, plus rookies.
Captain Kane Johnson, a veteran of 180 AFL games, is the only player in the Richmond line-up with more than 100 games experience.
Andrew Krakouer, is the next most experienced with 93 games to his credit, followed by Chris Hyde with 69 appearances.
The likely Richmond line-up for Saturday’s match is:
B: King, Thursfield, Oakley-Nicholls
HB: Moore, Hughes, Meyer
C: Tambling, Johnson, Hyde
HF: Hartigan, Riewoldt, McGuane
F: Jackson, Schulz, Krakouer
R: Pattison, Deledio, Howat
IC: Foley, White, Edwards, Connors, Collins, Graham, Clingan

Very happy with the squad chosen and I hope they line-up just like this with everyone in their more natural playing positions on the ground. As X has said the final score is irrelevant, it's about how the youngsters apply themselves this week. Youthful enthusiasm and a no fear attitude can be a positive mix. The only question you've got to ask is why didn't we try a number of these guys last week!

thats right mt!
i wish i could go to this game but i cant. what we have here is our future, will be exciting to see these boys have a dip cos if they can give an honest effort regardless the score, the future is looking bright!

another thing, i would have thought plough would have named polak for this game, but maybe he is resting him for some reason. and is krak playing injured, he was limping pretty badly last week
-
Spot on X. Ignoring Sugar, that spine is our future when you add Polak in there to at CHB. We still need another key defender at least as well as another ruckman.

I would say they are resting him. Polak showed decent form in the Geelong game so he's the least of our worries and he'll play in the last two practice games.
