Dont ask what sparked this idea in my head, but would anyone here think about trying to get Shane Crawford next year? HHQ have mentioned trading him so I wondered if we would a) think about it and b) what would we offer?
I would jump at the opportunity (if fit). At 30 hes got 2-3 years left and well he would another cog (pardun the pun) to the midfield....What would you cough up for him though?

As cute as he is - no thanks.
Only want players that will still be there when we win our next premiership.
Is like Brown, as good as he is, he won't be there when we're next competing for a flag.

No thanks

LMAO!
No thank you.
Lets try and build a football club.

Lets try and build a football club.
That's the key IMO - re-cycling doesn't work - the RFC is the greatest example you can give.
We need start from scratch and build a team around the best young talent on offer.
If I was going to trade for a someone from another Club - I wouldn't take anyone over 23 (24 max)

Exactly WP.
Ther is no reason why we,with an abundance of youth and 4 or so older players, cant become the next
super-team although our physical conditioning is and has been a negative.
IMO we need to look at the teams fitness as a whole.

No thanks, leave him where he is, too much baggage.

If we had made the top 4 a few years running, had a good senior core with good young kids coming through and we could pick him as an old tiger supporter up in the PSD then I would consider it. However we're in the bottom 4, many of our senior/middle tier players aren't up to scratch and we won't be near a position of winning a flag for 4-5 years. Agree with everyone else - PASS! We need to rebuild with youth not with 30 year olds..
