Sheedy said yesterday Walls lacked credibility after two of the clubs he coached went "out of existence" and claimed his two-year stretch at Richmond was a "waste" of time.
"Robert's two years at Richmond were just a waste. I don't know whether he left Richmond with a future. So he has to be very careful when he starts telling coaches what and how and when they are going to coach.

I can't even stomach Wayne Johnson as a runner, so you will be able to guess my thoughts on that one. :wallywink

Any comment by Sheedy about Walls needs to be read in this context......he can't stand him, and is therefore biased.

That's true but is there a semblence of sense in what he says? Sheedy's not stupid enough to just say "he's a dog" when he could hurt him more with facts that would really get under his skin.
I couldn't wait to see the back of Walls when he was at the club, in fact I nearly put up a petition lol
-
lol ... i know that sheedy and walls can't stand each other ... walls hates essendon i know that ... but how did the the hate begin ???
i know these comments didn't cause it !

You might find that a Mr K Sheedy might have a soft spot for ther tiges ;)
-
I would think it would go back to the old rivalry that Richmond and Carlton had.
I am sure that they gave each other a few cheap shots back in their playing days.

soft spot !!!! pigs ar se!!
sheedy is a b i tc h!!! he has used rchmond over many yrs to increase his bank balance and pay/ contracts at essendon!!!!
sheeedy is a 2 faced b a s t ard , just like KB!
sheedy as KB can go screw themselves, and watching sheedy over the passed 2 yrs bs his way about how the bombers are going has made me laugh,
the best thing is, when he and the bumbers fail this yr, he will have no excuses
at least walls has coached the tigers, besides play for us, what teh f has sheedy done for us excet USE us 4 his personal gain!!!
SHEEDY F OFF
-
Fact is the Sheeds has a soft spot for the tiges, fact no rubbish
He has shares in horses with all his old teammates, fact
-
Can tell you all something.
Sheeds supplied the RFC with a video for the game against the pies last year which was played to the players before the game.
Terry asked Sheeds to do it and he did.
Was about the old days of the Richmond /collingwood rivalry.
Sheeds does care for the tiges, fact.
Those who dont beleive, well thats your problem
-
Agree Jackstar. He has a soft spot for the tiges. Lots of reasons why he would. :thumbsup
I also think he particularly hates losing to them.
Walls decked Sheedy, as Sheeds was running past him behind the play, and knocked him out in a Rich-Carl game.

exactly shares in horses, no soft spot 4 the tigers of today, just his pocket and some old mates
-
If thats the case X, why did he do the video for the Pies game last year when Plough rang him and asked him ?
-
Richmond is his "second team" because he played with us so he does have a soft spot for the Tigers but Essendon comes daylight first and always will. He barracked for them as a kid.
-
Sheeds could have come over instead.

Sheeds could have come over instead.
exactly!!!
and why did sheedy do that video, he prob owed terry a fav, just cos ur in the loop jack, does not mean you know all that goes on

I find it amazing how highly regarded Robert Walls is within the general football community. He has to be the most overrated football person there is. His commentary is hopeless......he is the master of stating the obvious. Never has anything insightful to say.
Walls, Gieschen, Frawley......no wonder we are where we are.

That pretty much sums it up.
Walls walked into Richmond claiming Northey's gameplan was too predictable and we needed to add more possession. Geez that worked well. The only player of any skill and class Walls added to the Club was Joel and he was a father-son. Gas, Chaffey and Holland were the only other 100+ game Tigers Walls recruited from 20 recruits. A 20% success rate :scream.

If Robert Walls had anything to say to anyone it would be behind bullet proof glass, as he's one of the biggest cowards i have ever seen play our game. As Harry said before he says things that are so obvious there is no reason to say them. And for people to listen to a nut case like him will I don't know. If the game is live and he's commentating I turn the sound off and listen to the comentary on the radio. :lol
-
When he is commentating Mini Me and I do our own, which can be hilarious, especially when you don't know half the oppositions names.

55 Steven McKee - 20 games
:lol
McKee eventually netted us Troy Simmonds.
The Pies gave pick 3 for him :lol
We picked Aaron Fiora :banghead

Julz ultimate commentary:
Simmo taps it down to Richo who dishes it off to Simmo who kicks long to where Richo takes big pack mark. Richo plays on to Simmo who get it back to Richo ....goal! ;D

"And as we can see, Richo has been working hard in the gym over the summer"
:weights

Bit wordy. Normally just consists of "Simmo (hubba hubba) .... Riiiiccchhhooo (woohoo)!!!"
-
I like listening to his commentary.........
.......................................................
NO really.....
It just astounds me how he (and Frawley esp) can see exactly what Terry and the boys are doing wrong and how easliy it can be fixed.
Seriously you HAVE to laugh if you dont youll end up having a heart attack caused by these #%^*(^)!%^ and their "expert" commts.

A lot easier to see the whole pattern of the game, where teammates and opponents are and where the ball should be kicked to, from the media box up in the grandstand. Walls has a habit of praising a player one week when their team is winning and then bagging the same player the next when they are losing.
