Is Luke in trouble?
-
If he does there's something wrong. The Carlton player ducked into a head high tackle.
The umpire should be booked for laying the charge.

Herald-Sun:Promising defender Luke McGuane was reported for making forceful contact to the head, after bumping Carlton onballer Marc Murphy in the first quarter.
Age: Richmond's Luke McGuane was reported in the first quarter for a challenge on Marc Murphy when the young Carlton onballer had his head down over the ball. A half-time melee will also be analysed. Patrick Bowden had remonstrated with Brendan Fevola after the Blues full-forward cannoned into Andrew Krakouer momentarily after the siren.

Oh please! Both incidents were a joke. Umpires need some serious counselling if they think that is reportable.
-
it will be interesting.
Depends how they interpret the new ruling.
-
The problem for Luke is the AFL tribunal is cracking down on head high contact this year even if he should get off.
-
Luke McGuane has had his charge thrown out today.

Sanity prevails
I think that should be insanity ;D
There seems to be no logic or consistency behind how they apply any of these interpretations.
Very happy Luke's charge was thrown out but next week someone will cop 3 weeks for the exact same thing and that's the problem
