From the Footy Show....
In: Harts JON Meyer King Hughes
-
Brayshaw also said Hall is playing his 100th game but I must have missed seeing his name in the side when it was flashed up ???. Thought Razor was still 3 weeks away.
Howat and McGuane were also named on the extended bench.
Backline was: Newman Gaspar Raines
-
i think the team willn't change !
which is good because why change the team after round 1 ... let them play together ...
no point in changing the teams, give them a chance ... then drop them ... and once they are dropped
they aren't going to come back, unless the show form in the reserves !
-
King or Meyer might be a chance if there was change but yeah I also think torch we'll remain unchanged. Plough has stuck with the same side the past 2 years for round 2 giving them another shot despite a (bad) loss.
-
JoN wouldnt be fit yet either would he???? ???

i see grundy is in, better play him tight this time
-
Sheesh we're tall up front if we line up like that with Richo, Sarge and Polak. A big risk if they fail to hold their marks and the ball hits the ground. At least it's a sign we may go more direct this week. Our defence is very light on although Gas did do sort of okay on Hall last year.
I hope Clever and JON being on the bench doesn't mean Richo (head clash) or Lids (corky) could be late changes :-\.
I see the Swans have brought in Grundy who made a fool of us last time on debut :banghead.

Mail is that a big flood is on this week.
They wont be risking a blow out

If we do we will get blown away anyway. The mass flood only works at the Dome. Too much space at the 'G for it too work effectively. You can keep it up for 3 quarters but eventually the team doing the flood cracks as they tire. Think of the Pies game where browny kicked 5 in the last quarter. The maggies couldn't keep it up the workrate required after 3/4 time.

Only telling you what i was told

No probs Jack. I wasn't knocking your info. I just don't believe a mass flood works at the 'G.
