I would have sworn Sugar pointed to the City end when he won the toss but we started by going towards the Richmond end first quarter  :wallywink.

Yes, my mate Andy and I were a bit bewildered - yep, he did it again lol.  Pointed to the Jolimont end and we kicked to the other  :wallywink

Maybe he was telling Sydney which way they were going because he definitely pointed that way.

Is that what happened?  Mini-me and I were at a loss when the tv showed us going one direction and the players went the opposite?

could it have been a joke by foxtell, using a reverse angle camera or reversing the tv image ???

We were watching the toss from up in the Northern stand. Sugar definitely pointed towards the Ponsford end.

Oh the joys of being a captain.  Mini-me was appointed captain the other week for her netball game.  She asked one of her team-mates to join her for the coin toss in an act of solidarity.  Come the toss, and this miss decided to make the call instead of Mini-me and then questioned the direction Mini-me wanted to go!
