Richmond and the Western Bulldogs fit the bill as modern-day rivals.
After all, Tiger coach Terry Wallace left the Bulldogs when he still had one year of a contract to run and eventually found his way to Punt Rd, where former Bulldogs star Nathan Brown has set up camp.
Bulldogs president David Smorgon is obviously still unhappy with the way both Wallace and Brown departed Whitten Oval.
Tigers president Gary March found it necessary to return some friendly fire in Smorgon's direction the other day. There's plenty of rivalry there.
