Title: Your Mission this Week Should You Choose to Accept

I'm going away for a week.  Your mission:

Tell me how many players at this stage of their development "playing today" would make it in a top 8 team?

I've got only a couple:

Foley
Bowden
Lids
Polak
Newman
Richo (maybe)
Tuck
Pettifer (played all right today, so he gets a guernsey)

Then tell me, if you have less than this:

Give me the reasons why Richmond should be winning?

If you have more than this, make an appointment ASAP  :wallywink


PS:  Glad they didn't get blown away and showed some spirit in the second half.

confused, u said atthis stage of their development and you have richo in that list

richo proved today why he should have retired last yr, no use for him in our team

you can add dean polo to that list

Richo and Sugar wouldn't attract interest because of their age.

We're not the ones saying we should be winning Moi  ;). You can add Simmo, Tambo (missed him big time today), Browny and Cogs in that group if you could include those on our list. It's a undermanned side.  Port are a good side and are virtually at full strength. I still think if we can get Simmo, Tambo and Thursty back into the team we'll be a good show in 2 weeks time against Essendon who are equally poorly skilled.

No Polak at this stage.
Couldnt get a game in freo finals team last year so jury is out there

Foley - He was a standout yesterday, someone who will win the heavy contested ball
Polak - At last we have a defender who can take a contested mark
Raines - He continues to try and give us run off the backline
Newy - I think it is time for us to run him on the ball
Polo - Now we have a tagger who can get his fair share of the ball
Joel - He continues to be our best rebounding defender

The jury is still out on the rest - I wish we could find the right spot for Lids?
