I'm surprised Sarge is in without needing to play a game at Coburg. Jack's a touch unlucky given it was his first game but he didn't do much as was at risk. The decision is consistent at least. First Cleve dropped after one poor game, then Sarge and now Jack.  If your forward you've got to do something that benefits the team.

I'm happy with the other changes.

Good to see Edwards wasn't dropped. He'll be handy in the sanitised conditions of the Dome with his pace and good skills. Just needs to learn to use the first option more such as a give and go handball or a kick to someone in space.

Jack showed last week that he isnt even close to be a senior player.

He has had a taste now let him develop at Coburg for the rest of the year.

I would be playing Hughes more in the seniors though.

Meyer will surely be traded home to Adelaide at the end of the year.

And as for Krak, he is finished also. Trade him to WC for Sampi, nothing to lose.

How does Schultz get a game is unbeleiveable.
No wonder we havent won a game.
Someone please explain how can you be dropped one week through bad form, not play a game and get back in the following week.
Its a joke

P.S. Where is Cleve Hughes.
Can tell you Schultz wont make it at AFL level.

Cleve didn't do much against Tassie. Kicked 2 goals but that was about it.

Sarge is very lucky. I think we are going all out to win this week. The ins and outs say we are. Polo to help Sugar and Jacko tag either Black or Power, Whitey for a bit of pace at the Dome and Schulz as an extra "experienced" tall. Last week we virtually had no bench to rotate as Jack, Meyer and Edwards spent most of their time there. It hurt us in the last 10 minutes. This week we shouldn't have that problem.

You might find the Schultz has had enough chances at AFL level.
Just check out his average possessions per game and that says enough.

I thought Hughes did pretty good against Tasmania. Hughes against Port Adelaide was double manned by a backline that won that game for Port IMO

Schulz isn't the only one Jackstar, I'm sure there are plently more players in our team with bad averages... look where we are on the ladder  ::)
Seems unfair to single him out.

Your right Steph, it isnt right to single him out, there is about 15 players on our list who shouldnt be there  ::)

It's all about the quality rather than the quantity ;D

ANd I think you'll find Cleve is making a trip up the highway this weekend Jack  :thumbsup

Riewoldt out  :banghead

He looked a bit out of his depth last week. He'll get there though no doubt.

Jackstar, if you were the second forward alongside Richo, and the boys kept kicking it to Richo regardless of how many opponents he had, what would you do?  ???

I think Schulz has been carrying something for a few weeks and they gave him a 'rest'.

However I couldn't give a pooh if he's only getting the ball half a dozen times if kicking  2 or 3 goals each week as he was in the first 5 matches of the season. He is there to kick goals, not accumulate possessions. When he's not doing that, he is rightly under the pump.

Jay has kicked 11.11 this season  terrible conversion by his lofty standards.
If he had 15.7, you're not even talking about him..

I'm looking forward to the forward setup this weekend with him Richo and Kingsley.
That'll keep the defenders busy.

Tell you what I would do,
I would do what the coach tells me ;)

He is told to zone off , each player is told to either play high or play deep.
This dufus has no idea, thus he cant get kick.
Spare me please ::)

Most of our forwards lead to the same contest and spoil each other. It doesn't help either when teammates wait outside 50 for Brisbane to get numbers back before bombing the ball into crowded forward line.

Sarge shouldn't have come back into the side until he showed some form at Coburg. Just like Krak a "rest" and then back into seniors straight away doesn't change a players bad form.

You are spot on once agin.
Who ever is Richmonds forward line coach has no idea.
EVERY GAME that Schultz and Richo have played in together, they continuall fly for the same ball.   Its happened every week ::)

Yes I would drop Schultz.  Keep it to a Richo/Kingsley/Riewoldt forward line.  Maybe alternate Cleve Hughes for Kingsley.
