(a) Richmond captain Kane Johnson celebrates after the siren, but his mood soon turns to disapointment.

No idea whatsoever Kane.
How could he not know scores we're level?
Did he have a punt on the draw?
I felt disappointed we did not win rather than happy we did not lose.
Much the same way I did 12 years ago when we drew with the Bombers.
-

At $51 he should have lol
Well in 30 years of going to the footy that was the first draw I've seen live. I was interstate when we drew with the Bombers in 95 and missed the draw with the Saints in 1980. Too young to remember before that. I probably would've have felt worst last night if the season wasn't already gone but I gave it the "oh well at least we didn't lose". It's weird leaving the footy with no song.
-
I find it more disappointing than a loss, you just feel empty, especially when the game was there to be won ::)
A long bomb into the goal square would have been a better option Kane ::)
I don't care if he is the captain and the crap the club will cop, but drop him already! He is useless!
Give the captaincy to Foley :gotigers

Just like a loss in my book.

Well one thing is we were one point closer to winning this week, LOL. I was totally knocked for a six when I saw how it went. We didn't get the game but 10 showed a little and it was basically the Johnson stuff up minute. I really think that we should be going back to the Crows and ask for our money back, they sold us a dud. And if the coach is in his corner well sell him back to the television channel where he came from.
We have to make whole hearted changes. Johnson should reliquish the captaincy for the team to move on. So fall on your sword Kane and give us a proper chance at winning. As if the younger player follow your example we are dead in the water, do it for the team.
People say that you can't change midyear. But I have seen coaches sacked midyear. So it is time for a captain to be sacked midyear. If Johnson is on a performance payment, I think he's in a lot of trouble. We need to have a win and stop playing in the past, we need a future and without winning we will lose supporters and kids who want to play for us.
We,re not the Tigers of old. We're the tigers that don't know how to win.
Coaching and captian at fault.
But I still love em.

Oh my God Johnson doing that after the game what a put on Tanking MF
every player on the ground knows the scores during the heat of battle they are constantly looking at the scoreboard
Another tanking session over another close game to keep the fans comming back
next week Freo will belt us like Geelong did then they say it was the long trip
l watched the replay this morning what a waste of time lucky for me l was having breakfast reading the paper cause that game was POO
TANKERS TANKERS TANKERS :clapping

I went to a party instead of the game, only two of us were aussies, the majority were czech and a couple of poms. None of them gave a fat rats about footy. Gee they were happy people! lol
Wonder what thats like :-\

I have been actively following the Tigers for 42 years now.
Of the last 20 years, this is the year I have enjoyed most because I can see the future and have confidence in the coach and the club.

I have been a supporter for 46 years and i reckon this is the worst year I can remember, even worse that 1989 season.
At least they played with a bit of passion in 1989 ::)

We have along term plan for the first time in my memory.
The game has changed you need more than just passion otherwise Andy Kellaway (a great servant of the club) would still be playing.

Good on you 1965.
It's not the most enjoyable year for me because winning is what it's about, but there is something to look forward to hopefully if we all get behind the club.
I've been following the Tiges for 52 years and the late '80s, early '90s would be the worst period I've "endured", where there didn't seem to be a future.
For a team that is considered so crap by so many, how in the hell did we get a draw? They must have been awfully worried we might have won it :lol
-
For those who think we have a long term plan, please share with us .
The recuiting over the past 2 years has been terrible.
We have young players who have serious problems with the game plan and their skills.
Can tell you, this season is a disgrace ::)
-
Our recruiting has clearly improved over the last 2 years and really is irrelevant to how we are going now..
Its 2004 and earlier that we are paying for now...
-
lol ... 1st draw i have experienced with Richmond ...
it was funny, because everyone in the crowd just got up ...
and the players just stood there !!!
LMAOOOO
what a lot of crap saying a draw is like a loss !!!
there are two types of draws ...
ONE
winning draw
Two
losing draw
we had a losing draw
Brisbane should be bleeding ...
we could of pinched it ... but we played like dogs so we didn't deserve the win anyway !!!
DON'T KID YOURSELF LIKE ESSENDON SUPPORTERS ARE !!!
-
Mini-me was quite happy with a draw because it means the kids at school who support the Lions can't give her heaps on Monday. Of course, a win would have been even better so she could have given it back to them.

Do you mean to say, some of you would prefer that we had no points at all, rather than the 2 we got. Of course the 4 points would have been preferable, but I'd take 2 over 0 any day.

It's not as if we were the only team to play badly last night. Brisbane were just as bad.
-
As Denis Pagan once said "A draw is like going to a dance and ending up dancing with you're Sister". I was gutted. We should have won that game and we didn't.
I could go on about our crap captain but many others here have already voiced what I thought. Could have won it for us and didn't.
He is as inspiring as the last lettuce at the Vic Markets. :chuck
-
Like crap - Both sides were poo so deserved a draw :help
-
Sad :( Can only imagine how the boys feel. Do you really think they enjoy the crap they are getting dished up week after week. The team go out with the aim of winning - it's that simple. It's easy for everyone to sit back and fire off the bullets but let's be realistic. It's a team of young guns without much experience to guide them. The experienced guys are running around trying to do more than they should need to. Once we get the likes of Simmonds, Brown, Haritgan and co. back it will be interesting to see how the team pulls together and how the likes of Pettifer, Bowden and Tuck lift because they won't be trying to do everything themselves.
-
No-one is happy with how the Tigers are travelling. But spare a thought for those supporting the Brisbane Broncos. Their team won the premiership last year and up till recently were bottom of the ladder (they are now second from the bottom).
-
I shall spare no thoughts for them...they didn't deserve to win last years premiership! :lol :rollin
-
Relived we didn't lose but again disappointed we didn't win
-
I thought it was an appropriate result, both teams were as bad as each other. I was almost barrracking for that result.
But then again, I have felt a little emotionally detached from Richmond this year (that's how I cope), and wrote '07 off weeks ago.
